Was here for Thanksgiving,(don’t ask why!) Usually stay at the Homewood, but that site has been dirty lately. Front end staff very nice, check in a breeze using their app. Bathroom was very clean, but tired. And the creepy crawling spider on the bathroom floor at night… size of a quarter… Good housekeeping, B’fast usual powder stuff mixed with water, but we don’t eat the«food» at hotels. Very nice to have coffee available all day/night. Staff shouldn’t mingle around front desk during check in/out times. Nice location to mall and the Sears that closed. Quiet location. Bed was so-so, could be a little softer… zzzzzzzz ugh!

Not a bad hotel. The building is old but fairly clean. Great location though. My biggest issue is that the business center is brutal. The computers are almost unusable they’re so slow and I had a lot of difficulty getting some papers printed.

Disgusting. Nice hotel and all until I went to climb into bed and uncovered a dried blood stain. It was not only on the top sheet but also soaked down into the bottom sheet. Loya apparently had the pleasure of cleaning the room. Apparently Loya needs to be fired.

Conveniently located just off the highway. Pulled in here late at night and discovered that they keep their doors locked after a certain time unless you have a room key. You have to call them to buzz you in. This is apparently how it is at all Hampton Inns so it’s not a big deal, but I forgot about it and left my room key in the room with my wife figuring she’d let me back in once I got the stuff from the car. I ended up stuck in the cold for 2 mins while I waited for them to hear the phone and buzz me back in. There was pee and toilet paper in the toilet and I found a note my wife left me on the pad of paper on the night stand that said«I love my husband.» Turns out she didn’t write it and it was left there from the previous occupant. So between that and the toilet I’m not sure what else wasn’t cleaned. The beds were comfortable and warm, but the toilet flushed itself in the middle of the night and then ran for a while. The second time it flushed itself, I got up to fix it. A quick look showed the problem. Turns out the flapper had become brittle and that prevents it from making a complete seal. This allows water to slowly drip into the bowl. If enough water leaks into the bowl, the tank will refill and then the self-siphonage will be triggered and the bowl will flush. I ended up jamming paper towel in there as a temp fix and then removed it in the morning. As I checked out I grabbed a cup of the coffee in the lobby and it was amazing.

Looks nice after remodel. Morning breakfast is nice… clean, nicely arranged, and fresh. Hotel beds are comfortable and the rooms are clean. It’s not a fancy place, but it’s clean, comfortable, reasonably priced, with a nice breakfast selection. I’ll stay again.

The staff here is VERYFUN… they made my stay feel like I was hanging out at my friends house for the duration of my reservation. Brittany at the front desk is always helpful, friendly and knows the area and businesses well enough to make reliable recommendations to the guests and it seems like shes ALWAYS working. the other front desk ladies are superb but I saw Brittany the most. So helpful and most importantly HOSPITABLE– all of the staff is. I live in Hawaii so do not try to preach to me about«expensive hotel» as I come from the kingdom of EXPENSIVE hotels and hardly any of them were as home-like and hospitable. They are not stingy with the towels here & the tea and coffee station is always fresh, hot, stocked and clean. I do not eat breakfast but my son and mom said that it was decent. They will give you a little to-go breakfast if you need to run out quickly. My ONLY complaint(and by NO means a deterrent) is the pool smelled VERY heavily chlorinated. I was afraid to get in it myself or let my son get in it. The property is located in a prime spot in Wichita Falls… Dennys, Target, the mall and Chase bank are within less than a 5 minute walk. Walgreens & other restaurants are a skip away. The city bus runs near by, I do not know the routes or times but the location of the Hampton Inn is VERY convenient to pretty much anything you need while in town. The price of the room was very reasonable-like I said. I come from the land of expensive hotels so 100 bucks a night is not worth complaining about. Try come to Hawaii and ask for a room for 100 bucks a night– you will sleep on the beach.

Average Hampton Inn stay for me, no major issues. I was a little surprised that they made me pay for my second night when I unexpectedly checked out a little late(about 4:00), but I understood that the cleaning staff had gone home for the evening and they would not be able to rent that room out. I finished my business in the area a few days early, and asked to check out when I returned to the hotel after work. I do this almost every week, and this is the first time I have had to pay for another night that I didn’t spend at the hotel. It would not deter me from returning to this hotel when back in the Wichita Falls area.

I can’t heap enough praise on this hotel. I’ve stayed there on three trips to WF. The hotel covers all the standard bases with flying colors: friendly, clean, nice rooms, free wi-fi, free breakfast, etc. It’s the extra effort I’m really impressed by. My first trip was unexpectedly extended, leaving me short of clean clothes. The owner sent me over to the Residence Inn(same ownership) and let me use their washing machines. On the next trip I dropped my car key(you know, the $ 250 one), under the bed and flew home unaware. They recovered the key and called me, offering to mail it or hold it for me. Three weeks of valet key use later, I was back in WF and my key was returned with a smile. Highly recommended.
