I don’t like they’re attitude but screw them the food is good. The salsa is also bomb.

This was our first time coming here. Oh my worst tasting tacos ever! i hate to put a bad review but they were nasty.(hate to use that word) ALL the meats we had were horrible tasting. My husband and I purchased tacos so we can taste the meat since it was our first time here. All the meat looked the same i couldn’t tell the difference by looking at my tacos what was my asada, pastor, chicken. The meat was pretty bland a little mushy i felt they boiled the meat and then put it on the skillet when you ordered it. The salsas were watery and bland everything was tasteless. We will never come here ever again. Zero flavor on EVERYTHING.

I seen this taco truck for a few years parked on Whittier Blvd and finally decided to stop by Friday night and picked up some asada, al pastor, chicken and tripas. Honestly the al pastor was not flavored the way it should be kinda bland the asada was nothing great I’m used to eating at choo choo mamas on Greenleaf their al pastor and asada is great. I was about to give this place one star until I not into the tripas they were great! The perfect balance of crunchy on the outside and soft on the inside they are honestly the best tripas in the Whittier area actually even better than chemas tacos tripas. Those tripas helped this review receive 3 stars, plus the guy taking orders isn’t very nice and doesn’t really appreciate his clients he isn’t really welcoming like the guys from choo choo mamas which I recommend to go for all the other meats.

Living in Whittier and craving TACOS, truck style??? check out Victor’s Tacos on Whittier Blvd. usually between Michigan Ave. and Laurel Ave., near the new LA Fitness. CASHONLY, run by a family, fast and courteous service. They have the usual suspects: Tacos, burritos, quesadillas & Tortas. Meats included carne, carnitas, al pastor, tripas, cebeza, pollo & lengua. All orders come with salsas, lemons, peppers, etc. Get your taco fix here, you wont be disappointed!!!

Great taco truck on Whittier Blvd usually east of Painter, east of College. A Carnitas Torta hits the spot!

If you’re looking for some fast and good asada tacos stop here. All I had were asada tacos but they were flavorful. I definitely want to try their tacos de tripa. Don’t forget to get some grilled onions and jalapeños on the side. Service was great.

To sum it up this is a spot for the«gringos» in whittier… I’ve eaten here three times. The first visit the asada torta was flavorful. 2nd visit burrito was bland and stingy on the meat. 3rd visit im the idiot who gave them another shot and once again no flavor. Sad bc I really want the cooks to succeed and they failed to deliver. on to the next.

Do i love this truck ! its so deliciouso. I order the chicken burrito which comes with rice, beans. There salsa is amazing. There is so much flavor in there house made beans and meats. It usually parks about 7 pm and they stay open till about 11ish weekends I think it 2am. They are a family and they are really polite and sweet. They fill all your special request. Anytime my family and I want good tacos, burritos and tortas we come to the truck to satisfy our bellies. Please do tip the little boy taking the orders he cant be any more pleasant. You wont be disappointed with Victors truck.

Not really sure what to say but our first time will be the last time! The Al Pastor burrito I ordered was 90% rice & beans. Yup! this place is shady as hell. My wife ordered 3 tacos and she had the saddest look on her face when she started eating them. She turned to me and said«Where’s the beef!?» Ha! Sorry Victor but you fooled me once… shame on you!

Tacos are good but not that great. Burritos are greasy and not that big like other trucks in this area. The asada burrito, was realy greasy like it was sitting in its own greasy juice. I wouldn’t recommend to my friends. Taco truck on Painter and Mulberry now that’s the spot.

GREAT taco truck. Good to have a solid taco truck in the area. Havnt had or seen anything else in Whittier like this. Good for late-night munchies at reasonable price. Very good asada meat.

The asada brought me back. It was seasoned, tender, and delicious. My bf wanted to go to East LA to buy tacos from a truck but I knew this culinary jewel was two blocks away. Tasting tongue tonight from this truck for the first time so I’ll post any other review. But the food is awesome. Park on Barton and the wait is not long.

Sorry, but I was born in Boyle Heights. Where the real taco stands are and yes I know what good carne asada tacos are. These tacos were garbage. The carne asada had no flavor and i just don’t understand how ppl go there. Most likely because it’s convenient and because there really isn’t a great taco spot in Whittier that I’ve found. No Chela’s tacos are not good either… lol. I’m not picky, it’s just that I was raised around amazing food and this def does not measure up.

The tacos are small but not skimpy. Nice and meaty and only $ 1 – 1.25. Nicely seasoned and a great variety of not so easy to find meats, like Tripa, Cabeza and Al Pastor!
