Avoid! Terrible clinic with a physician that practices zero ethics and violates basic health care rights!

The doctor was extremely rude. The nurse practitioner was so sweet and the nurse that helped me was nice. The doctor continued to talk to me about things that would be considered private in the hallway in front of other patients and other staff… I thought I signed a privacy act when I first got there… I was talked down to and humiliated in front of other patients and staff. This place doesn’t even deserve a star.

Dr. B is the only one for me and my healthcare! he delivered my girls, who now 20 years later, see him as well! he makes them feel welcome and at ease, always! He’s a true OBGYN, still delivering babies, and making the rounds! Kudos Dr. B! We love you!

I love Dr Bhupathy. He’s the only OBGYN that I will see. He delivered my brothers and I, and when I got pregnant delivered my daughter. He’s very caring for his patients, always asks how the family is doing, and listens to all of your concerns. Yes, it is a bit difficult to understand him, but there is always a nurse by his side to clarify what he just said if you are having difficulty understanding. Fair warning, his office is always busy. And if there is a baby on the way he will have to drive the Whittier Hospital to deliver but will always return once his duties are done. Be prepared to wait, although in my experience it is worth the wait. If there is a substitute Dr, I will reschedule my appointment. Regarding the«rudeness» to his nurses, I think he is just hard on them because he wants them to learn. I’ve seen the incidences of «rudeness» and although he could tone it down a bit, it’s because the nurses sometimes forget to do certain functions that are required when checking in a patient. For example, checking a patients temperature when they come in for pelvic pain. Over all, I love Dr Bhupathy, he is an amazing caring Dr. The nurses are very helpful and most of the time, are willing to squeeze you in for a same day appointment.

Completely and utterly rude. Just the doctor is rude. The nursing staff is amazing and helpful. The doctor talks down to the nurses and disregards ANY question I had. Seemed to NOT like women. Then why be a gynecologist?

Horrible. Today marked the second time I’ve come to this office and also the last. The nurse practitioner that works there saw me the first time and she was great. But the doctor himself? My word, I don’t know what to say. I couldn’t understand a word he said, his accent was so thick and he was«seeing» me in the hallway b/c the rooms were packed. I went today for a routine pregnancy appt and had the 1st appt of the day. An hour and 15 minutes later, I was still sitting there. That is crazy. I told the nurse I was leaving and she tried to convince me that the Dr. would arrive«any minute». I said that my appt was at 9:30, not 10:45 and I will not be waiting any longer. I promptly left and will not be returning. EVER. I’ve had to wait for extended periods of time at doctors offices before but there is always an explanation and an apology. I had the first appt of the day and was not given any reason to think I would be waiting forever. After my vitals were taken, I was told, «the doctor will be right in.» I’m sorry, that is incredibly unprofessional.

If you really care about your personal life and for the life of your little one, I would really recommend NOT going to this place. The staffs are rude, irresponsible and not forgetting to mention that they try to charge for something that was never related. I left this place on a heartbeat and now I’m really happy elsewhere. Again, DONOT choose this place!!!

Ever since my first drs appt, I have not liked this place! The front desk girls were not friendly at all and the appts took longer than any other drs office I’ve ever been to. The waiting room was always packed, sometimes with not even one open seat. On average, I spent 2 – 3 hrs there each time and I also noticed there were ppl coming in after me who were leaving before me which totally got on my nerves. When u did see the dr, he would talk to u for a good 3 min and then it was ok see u next time. Everything just felt rushed and not comfortable. I’m glad I transferred out of that office.
