Horrible the owner Maricela very un professional cancelled my hair and makeup appointment at the last minute when I needed too get my hair and make for winter formal she had her daughter call and cancel saying that she had something with her son. Really sad that it was a lie someone else called and made an appointment with her at that same time and she said she was not busy at that time. When I made the appointment wondered why she was available on a Saturday at that time all good hair salons are always busy on Saturdays very hard too get an appointment a few days before. So that tells me her salon is not doing so well now I know why.

Very polite and professional. My daughter gets her eyebrows done and they always look nice.

What a great salon. Ever since I walked in the first time I knew she was my hair gal !! I have been coming here for a year now and she has been nothing but amazing to my hair. I totally recommend her.

Locked my keys in the car l, asked if I could use the restroom. The lady told me only her clients could. «Owner Rules» … well that kind of snobby service will make me never want to come here. To bad you lost out on a potential client!!!

I am so happy that Maricela was recommended to me! I had recently moved to La Habra from out of state and was desperate to find a really great hairdresser. From my first appt. Maricela understood my wants for my hair, as it is thin and can look gold after coloring if not done right. She really listens to her clients. I have been seeing her for two years now and every time the color and cut has been perfect! She suggested bangs for me, which I hadn’t had in years, and she was right, I do look younger! I completely trust her with my hair and recommend her to everyone! On another note, she is also a fabulous photographer and did a beautiful photo shoot with my family. I love her!

Almost impossible to get a hold of the salon but nobody does extensions like maricella. She is amazing at it and nobody around can do the work she does.

So happy with the way Maricela did my hair! She is so nice, professional, and knows hair! Definitely coming back!

I have to say I am really happy that I tried Salon De Franco. Maricela did a fantastic job coloring and cutting my hair. She cut and styled my hair just as I asked and for the first time in a long time my hair actually looked the way I wanted it to! Yay!

Decided to give this place a try as I am still looking for a go-​to hair salon since moving to Whittier. Ended up with a great haircut and the price was not that expensive. Went there a 2^nd time for a bang trim & decided to try their threading. I will now go to this place for eyebrow threading since it is a lot closer to my house than the other place I reviewed. I would still go to either of the 2 places. She cleaned up the strands and did not take out too much hair on my brow. It looked natural. The owner and her daughter are really cute. They engage their customers.

I was referred to Maricela about a year ago. I had been trying different stylists but just was never satisfied until I went to Salon De Franco and met Maricela. Now I have never have to try anyone else again!
She is wonderful and does exactly what you ask for. She gives wonderful advice and suggestions that truly bring out the inner beauty in a person. I always leave feeling as if I had a full day of relaxation and a mother of two little ones, I always could use that!
I would ABSOLUTELY recommend her to anyone and I have and they have all been happy with their results.
Oh and by the way… EVERYONE loves the new blondie Mari! Thanks again for another wonderful style!

I went in thinking I would have a good experience judging by the posts other people left and word of mouth. Maricela gets scissor happy. so if you’re not looking to get extra inches than what you want off, think twice! I feel like this was the biggest waste of my money and time, I spent $ 45 on a haircut that I DETEST! Not only was it way shorter than I asked for, but now that it’s growing out (and still looks horrible) the layers are all uneven and it’s really difficult to do anything with my hair. I’ve talked to other people about it, and the’ve told me they have had similar experiences– «She cut too much off, and didn’t even apologize when I said I was unahppy.»; «She left me with Bi-​level bangs, and they look so terrible I have to pin them back».When I told her I didn’t really like it and it seemed too short she said, «You’re in hair shock, you’ll love it in two weeks.» OK, well it’s been longer than that and I still regret having ever walked in. I think when you’re paying that much for a haircut, you should notice a high quality, if I wanted a bad haircut I could have gone to Fantastic Sams and paid $ 10 for it.
