Food is awesome! I’ve been coming here for about 2 years. We are never disappointed! The prices are very reasonable.

Hole in the wall but worth trying! OPENSUNDAYSUNTIL8PM, not sure why Unilocal says it’s closed. CASHONLY!!! Prices are definitely reasonable! $ 7 for a bowl of delicious noodles and your choice of meat/vegetables/sauces. Comes with a side of white rice! Other menu items available for additional $. No soda fountain, just canned drinks. But they are cold and refrigerated! Upon walking in you let the worker know what type of meat you want. You can mix meats if you like, just be sure to ask. They then go to the back and bring you your bowl of meat. You then get to choose what vegetables you want from the vegetable bar and add them in to your liking. Same as the sauces… Not sure what flavor you want? There is a sign with instructions telling you exactly how many spoons of each sauce to add to make your bowl mild, medium, or hot. Once you are ready the cook will grab your bowl and cook your meal! They add in the noodles themselves! If want more noodles just ask!!! There are little improvements they can make here and there, but for being a Hispanic family owned restaurant I give them a lot of credit and food was delicious and fresh! Customer service was great! However, it may be because there was not a language barrier between myself and the employees. For those who don’t speak Spanish I can understand why they would think the employees are rude. It’s not that they are rude, they just aren’t as confident with their English! WORTH A TRY… I’ve already gone twice in 3 days!

After reading mixed reviews about this place finally got a chance to try it out. Do yourself a favor and don’t come here. Disappointed would be my overall experience. Mongolian food places let you add on your meat. Here it is served on to the bowl for you and very sparingly too. The veggie selection was ok. You also add on your own sauce which I was clueless on how to even with the recommended signs of what to add the few posted just didn’t seem appealing needless to say my food was ruined after all the sauces it ended up being super salty plus the sauce the cook pours on to it as he grills it for you. The BIGGEST let down was the noodles. They were flimsy and has a weird taste. You’d have your salty sauce all over them but once you bite into them they had a sweet taste? I felt like I was eating spaghetti noodles. Couldn’t finish the plate it was just so unsatisfying. So then I asked for a soup they had posted. And they didn’t have any :/. Won’t be coming back here. 1star because the man and woman running the joint were very nice. The place itself tho I didn’t expect q 5 star appeal but it does not look very clean. Their«A» rating poster is all dirty so it makes you wonder if it’s legit.

This place is a total hole in the wall, but outstanding Mongolian barbecue. I come here at least once a week. I like the fresh vegetables.

I’ve read some of these reviews and the ones that give them a bad review, I would have to disagree with them. It’s a great place for lunch or dinner! The man who works the grill is great!!! The lady who serves the meats is also very nice! Absolutely no complaints there! If you need anything or have questions, ask them and they happily will help! I’ve been coming here for about a year and love this place! I’ve tried other Mongolian places and this is one of the best! Great fresh veggies, plenty of meat, delicious!!! I will continue to come here, easy, delicious and fast if you are on a lunch run!

Walked in for the first time yesterday at approximately 2:15pm and we were met by a look of irritation & unwelcome. A guy was cleaning the vent and I even asked if they were open because of the lack of service and communication. An older lady came out said something regarding the meat, I suppose, because she was speaking rather soft. The man didn’t bother getting off his ladder to attend to us. They really need to work on their customer service. My review is strictly based on that because we left. If restaurateurs act like they don’t want me there I will gladly give my business to those that do! Suggestion. If you want to stay in business do yourselves a favor; put up a sign with instructions or something, don’t let people walk in aimlessly. I really doubt I’ll ever be back I’d rather drive to Mad Wolf Mongolian Barbecue in Fullerton or 999 Mongolian BBQ in Montebello.

They should update their business hours that way people don’t waste a trip to their restaurant and they are about to close. We got here at 8:20 thinking they closed at 9 because of the Unilocal information and were turned away because they close at 8:30. Not sure if i want to come back after this

I have never felt so disrespect in my life in any place I have ever eaten. The lady there is so FUCKENRUDE!!! I literally had to go outside before I lost my cool… 1. No one greats u when u walk in so you don’t really know what to do. 2. You! Have to ask for the waitter what u need to do. She will ask u what kind of meat you want and that she will get it for you. 3. Then when she brings the meat to you she will not set it at your table, but at the table beside you. We just sat there our table was clean… Wtf! 4. When about to pay u ask her about the bread and she don’t even acnolege you and just keep a walking away as she mumbles something… Fuck that lady and that fucken horse she rode on…

In all honesty this place is probably the worst spot I have ever walked into. Looked at the pictures online and it looked very good but when I entered the location the man said«what do you want» and I showed him a picture of what I saw on Unilocal and he said«cash only» and«over there». As if I am suppose to know I create my own bowl and add noodles and everything else that I saw in one of the pictures(picture says — «absolutely heaven») I will never return to this spot even if I am dizzy and about to pass out from malnutrition. CUSTOMERSERVICEBLOWS!!! Menu was written with a red permanent marker And there was about 7 things on thier menu. They had no intention to explain or help me figure out how to make it. I wouldn’t be surprised if these reviews that say«4 star» are friends of the business just to promote it and make it look good. DONOTGO!!! I AMSAVINGYOUALL!!!

This place is great! Always very clean, staff is friendly and good portions! I’ve been here multiple times with different people and we like that the vegetable bar is always full and neat. I personally don’t eat the meat but my friends have had it and they like it, I just get noodles and I go crazy with the toppings. Never disappointed. I get the bread and rice on the side. Can’t leave without it. My mom will even ask me to bring extra bread because she loves it. Glad I tried this place

Once you get past the awkwardness when you walk in(no menu, just find a seat) and hope for the best. You pick your meat, they give it to you and you add the rest. I have been here several times, and it’s always good. Not the best Mongolian, but worth stopping in if that’s what you are craving.

Reasonably priced for the amount of food you receive! You have the options of putting however much veggies and sauce as you please, which is nice… My bf asked for extra noodles and wasn’t charged extra so the owners are pretty friendly :) give it a try if you’re craving oodles of noodles

My family and I have gone here a few times, simply because it’s convenient. I would not call it Mongolian. The owner obviously changed the noodles… not a smart move. and then they count your portions. Not a typical Mongolian experience. Prices are fair.

This place is delicious… I have had the pork and the beef and both are good for different reasons… Garlic, chile oil, soy bean oil, ginger, Mongolian spices, water chestnuts, jalapeños, white onion, green onion, mushrooms, green bell peppers, bean sprouts, noodles and let the cool do the work !!! Freaking delicious. That’s just what I added but there is more to choose from. You got to try at least once!!!

This place really doesn’t look like much from the outside. Actually, it doesn’t look like much from the inside either. When you walk in, there is a tiny handwritten menu over a cooler obstructed by fake plants listing out the prices. Super inconvenient. When we walked in, the employee was dressed in street clothes eating at a table. We didn’t even know he worked there until he came up and asked if we were ready. I hadn’t seen the menu yet, so I said, well what are our options? He just asked what kind of meat we wanted. I proceed to ask again, well, how much does it cost? He pointed at the menu. I actually had to step back and take it in and see past the plastic foilage. Since it was a Mongolian BBQ place, I went with that. He then came out with two bowls and pointed at the self serving station. The veggies were self explanatory, however, when we got to the sauces, there were quite a few but none of them were marked. We looked around and the kid disappeared and we were left guessing. About five minutes later, he returns and asks if we were ready, but we couldn’t have been because we didn’t know what we were doing. Without explaining, he just asked how spicy we wanted it. I ordered it spicy and he just put a bunch of stuff in a bowl and then set it next to the grill. Another man comes out, scrapes the grill and mixes everything together. Five minutes later, we have two sizzling plates of food. Though the process was ridiculous, the food was actually really good. For two bottles of water and two heaping piles of food, it came to about $ 16. Pretty cheap and beats the mall. I would come back now knowing what to expect. Don’t expect the friendliest of service, but you’re not paying a lot for all that you get.
