First time to this restaurant and went through drive thru and it was a long wait but the guest service was good and the food was surprisingly great. Had to come again the next night and brought my daughter. We the last guest of the night, didn’t know they close at 10 PM. Tried the DUI and OMGooooodneeessss it was Bomb! The place was clean and the lay out was organized. Will be back during normal times to see the peak rush for consistence.

I was looking for a great mom and pop burger and I found it! Got the Swiss cheeseburger combo with ½ French fries and homemade onion rings, simply Delicious! The service was also great, I was welcomed with a smile and the smiles continued throughout my visit. The food was brought promptly and refills were offered and delivered to the table. Another plus to this burger joint vs others– Sunday football was on TV! for the football lovers out there.

I have been a neighbor to this place for over 30 plus years and I have never thought much of the place other than a hole in the wall. Somewhere you stopped to get a quick bite to eat and it’s been a number of years since I stopped to get a bite and my mom lives around the corner… I have seen this place morph to what it is today and what a great improvement. for those indicating there customer service was bad, I didn’t find that at all the ladies were nice and brought our food to our table with a smile. It was me and my 4 teenage kids and all their needs were met and they could be a little picky… only thing was the sitting they could convert an area for 5 or more large family’s. We had the torta special and a burrito with onion rings and it was more than enough. My kids wondered why we hadn’t stopped their before… now it’s part of our top picks

Good ol’ Michaels burgers. Been coming here since I was little. Burgers are good, fries are good too, but my favorite are the chili cheese fries (drool) I think I’ll always come here it’s a Whittier community staple.

I am a firm believer in costumer service. First the food I like here I stand by my check ins it is my favorite new burger place in the Santa Fe springs Pico Rivera area. That said I only wish that Michaels staff was more like Manny friendly with a big smile and warm hello. The staff is not warm friendly or inviting. Michael’s gets for stars because of the owner it’s tough in this area to run a place and I do believe the this attitude of the staff is cultural and not the result of bad management. Good luck I will be back

Called in to order for pick up, got our company order wrong. Called to let them know some items were missing.
Went back to see if we could get our correct order, and was treated like shit when we returned to pick up the rest of our order.
Customer service is terrible!
They need to double check in orders to see if it’s on point, and customer’s are satisfied.
Don’t give us a bad attitude when your staff isn’t doing they’re job correctly!
This place is going down in overall quality.
I use to come here often when I was in high school, and recommend others to try this place out.

I would give this place zero stars if I could for having the worst customer service I’ve ever experienced. Every time my boyfriend and I come to this place I feel very uncomfortable as if we were a huge inconvenience to the workers. They treat people like they’re a bother and I don’t think I’ve ever seen anyone smile there. They throw ugly looks as if the the customer is the enemy lol. They should lighten up a little. I know how it feels to work at a fast food restaurant and when I started hating it I did what anyone would do, QUIT! Sorry you workers are in a bad mood 24/​7, but don’t take it out on the customer, leave that negativeness back at home. Get it together LADIES! :) good day.

This used to be our go to place. Unfortunately it has slowly declined in customer service AND food quality. The straw that broke this camels back? I spent $ 35 dollars on the burger special for the family plus a steak sandwich. Got home and the steak sandwich was as hard as a rock. I’m not over exaggerating!!! Took it back only to have each person there squeeze it to verify that it was hard as a rock and inedible. (Burgers weren’t much better.) with scarcely an apology I was given my money back and sent on my way. Sad decline of a once nice little neighborhood place. Won’t be back.

I’ve been here many times to pick up many orders for my fellow employees and I. I understand when it’s busy, everyone has to wait, but if there I’m waiting for 20 minutes at a drive thru window, AT LEAST get my order right! I got to work to find out that they forgot to put an ENTIRE order in my bags. AN ORDER THAT THEY CHARGED ME FOR! I called to let them know and they said to go back and it would be ready for me. I got there in ten minutes or so only to have to wait another 20 minutes for ONE burger and ONE order of fries! The one I called about before hand so it wasn’t even a new order. Not to mention, when I went back, there was no one waiting, there were no lines… and I STILL had to wait for my order that I had called about. They weren’t short staffed, just lazy. Never coming back again.

Was in the area due to work, and I really didn’t feel like doing your typical chain drive-​through burger place. I pulled up and noticed they have a $.99 quarter pound burger with the purchase of fries or a drink. Reading that I thought it would be a very low-​quality meal, boy was I wrong. Quality this place is honestly we above the price point they are charging. Maybe has to do with the demographic, I know whatever it was it was amazing meal for that price. Service was friendly and fast not more you can ask for six dollar lunch what more can you ask for?

I ordered menudo, unfortunately I put too much red crushed peppers in it and got waaay to spicy, so I asked if they could replace it, THEY SAID NO!

I always get the chili cheese fries and add carne Asada on top! No other chili cheese fries beat these in my opinion. Not even the hat in Alhambra. They added a few new things too which I like but have yet to tried.

This place is going to make me a better guitarist, I swear. Because it’s an hour from my house but it’s only a half mile from the rehearsal studio my band uses. So I’m constantly trying to get the band to practice more just so I can get a Mushroom Swiss Bacon burger, which after looking for 3 years, is the best in Los Angeles. No lie. Best. Mushroom. Swiss. Burger. I did also try the pastrami which while it was good, it came on a roll, and as an east coaster I prefer my pastrami on sliced rye. But that’s me. Also, with their mozzarella sticks they don’t serve them with marinara sauce. They serve them with chili, which I was excited for at first, but I’m not digging the chili and cheese stick combo. It really needs to be marinara sauce. I’m hoping they don’t open one in the Valley because I’d be there all the time.

I’ve been here for burgers and fries and have also had there chicken salads but today was different. Today I had there menudo. I know menudo at a burger place but you should try it here. The menudo came out hot and delicious. The meat was very tender and just melts in your mouth. The juice is also very tasty. If your ever around the area you should give it a shot.

Passed this place sooo many times and have never though about stopping in, but today wanted to try a new burger place in my area and here i am. It was definitely a good choice, was a very tidy little place and the staff was very friendly. Decided to get a double cheeseburger combo with bacon, soo delicious! This olace gets a big thumbs up for using actual strips of lettuce instead of the shredded lettuce and they put an amzing amount of cheese on the burger. It was truely a double cheeseburger!

Fast, clean, and friendly. They have a large menu from salads to burgers and they are happy to customize any order.
Everything I’ve tried so far (crispy chicken salad, club sandwich, bacon turkey melt) has been delicious. This has become my daily go to for lunch.

7 – 27 My lunch there sucked! My onion rings were burnt, seriously:-(Lettuce in our burgers were the ends and our burger patties were cold. We usually go there for breakfast burritos, guess that’s what we should stick to
