I absolutely love this school! Great administration, staff, and parent involvement; Which I think is key. Couldn’t ask for a better school

Amazing school!!! I have 2 kids there, currently in 3rd and 4th grade, and they have been there since kinder. The academics are outstanding, the staff is amazing. My kids have excelled beyond my expectations and the communication we’ve had with every teacher, has been more than I could ever ask. My kids love class, love learning, and love their teachers. It is a complete family environment and there are many avenues for a parent to be involved.

When our now 14 year old son was in the 4th grade there, they insisted on putting him in «special ed» classes for language. My husband fought them on it because he knew what his son was capable of. Needless to say he is a straight A student in middle school now. Perhaps they needed children to fund the classes or his teacher just couldn’t handle him? They also suggested that he may have ADHD. We brought the school a letter from a child psychologist he has been seeing(due to parents divorce) and clearly stated that he did not have such. I thought they were suppose to help our kids not just keep them down or worst yet give them remedial classes holding them back from their full potential. This situation brought on a lot of animosity with us and the staff. We would have taken him elsewhere only that their bio-mom chose this school since it’s in the area she lives in. On another note our 10 year old 5th grader was hurt at the school on the monkey bars. It rained the night before and they were still wet!!! He slipped, knocking his shin into a bar and had to rushed off to the ER, getting 15 stitches. Now why in the world would the field attendants allow the children to play on them if they are still wet! WHATWERETHEYTHINKING!!!
