Del Taco

I was in this drive through for over 30 mins! When I got to the speaker to place my order it was completely silent for around 10 minutes I thought it was broken and people were having to order at the window, however a girl spoke to take our order after 10 minutes with no apology or explanation. I was not able to leave the drive through because I was surrounded by cars. My friend and I needed the order split up into to 2 orders and she refused to do so. I called to complain to the manager only to find out that the person I was dealing with in the drive through was the manager! The only welcome I had from this place was a smile from the man cleaning the floors. When we got home my food was burned and stale. I’m really not happy.

girl was rude beyond belief. took 6 minutes for us to get our order. spilled my drink and didn’t even ask if I needed a new one or new lid. and didn’t even get receipt and the end. very unsatisfied

Sometimes you just need a green burrito! And these are the best! (She said with a bottle of Kosta Brown Pinot noir)

No need to really describe Del Taco. its a good location, never had any bad food from here and you get what you want from cheap Mexican American food. I do miss the old MACHO burritos but I guess the new Epic ones will suffice for the time being.

One of my favorite locations. Always a friendly staff, clean facility and generous portions. Their tacos are stuffed to the brim with beefy goodness!!! Lol. Don’t miss out on this location!!!

Omg! Diana is by far the best worker in any del taco in the world!!! I asked if they still made the shrimp baskets. She informed me they didn’t. BUT she added side orders until she made me a shrimp basket! She was so helpful! I’ll be coming back to this del taco as long as Diana is here!

The lady in the drive thru early Friday morning at 12:45 gave us horrible service and had us wait 5 mins to order. On top of that the food was cold and we were missing our fries

For a fast food joint, I think Del Taco is a solid choice for value and quality for a low price.
The epic carnitas papa’s burrito is my current favorite. It’s loaded with carnitas pork, country style fries, veggies, salsa, and guacamole.
I’ve tried the turkey taco’s which is so-​so. Not worth the up charge.

This is my favorite place for a quick bite to eat or to enjoy some free time with my girlfriend. The service is great, employees are polite and food accuracy is precise. It’s great that it’s just within walking distance of my place and no matter what time of the day it is… its open ²⁴⁄₇. Highly recommend this restaurant in particular. Other Del Tacos don’t compare.

Another one of my lunch spots. Order is always correct, friendly service, and places cleaned periodically during lunch.

This may be the one and only time I write a review for a fast food place but I absolutely adore Del Taco! I’m in Whittier about once a week to visit my mom and/​or go shopping and it’s nice to have a low cost option when it comes to eating, so that I have more money in my pocket for shopping! Also let’s give it up for Del Tacos no nonsense customer service. They set the bar for good customer service and they deserve some props for that especially with such bad customer service out there (I’m talking about you Taco Bell!). I sign up for their loco deals emails and I get tons of coupons for free food, and even got a delicious fresh strawberry shake for my bday. I’m feeling the love Del Taco, I am feeling the love.
All their locations are great and dependable but this one especially. Thanks for being you D.T.

Quick, cheap and good. What else can I say?

This Del Taco is the best for Customer Service and quality of food! Always fresh and service is fast and friendly!

This location is like most (if not all) other del tacos. though, it’s still great for the late night munchies.

I am at this Del Taco an embarrassing amount of time.
It’s the best Del Taco around, for sure. Their food is pretty fresh, hot and yummy. The only thing they need to upgrade are their limes. They are either too tiny or juiceless.
Their fries and jalapeño rings are slammin. Their burritos are delish. I can’t wait to go back. The day time manager here is super nice and friendly, which helps add to the appeal. In fact, everyone I have encountered here, up until recently, as been super nice. There is one Bitter Betty who just started working the register. I don’t enjoy her and I hope they stick her in the back as the bean scooper or something, away from people encounters.
Try the bean and cheese burrito with red and green sauce. Get a side of onions and sprinkle a few on (they’ll put too many on if you order the onions already on), add a bit of salt and some Del Scorcho… perfect. Top it with a side of Jalapeño rings and you’re pretty close to heaven.
One more thing, if you have any special requests, like all good foodies do, check your order before you leave. The register workers are on the ball, but the food assemblers and baggers tend to forget those yummy little extras.

I wouldn’t normally review a fast food restaurant. This one however has always had exceptional service and today was no different. The managers and staff are so friendly, both dining in and in the drive-​thru.

Their double dels are amazing! Surprise… who would’ve thought a «so called» Mexican fast food chain would have amazing burgers. If you’ve never tried one do it and you will be addicted.

4 stars for Del Taco? I must be crazy! Yes, I do like Del Taco! I think their food is awesome! I like the shredded beef burritos and fish tacos. Yes they have fish tacos! It even comes with a slice of lime! I haven’t been disappointed with anything at Del Taco. Even their burgers are decent. What’s even rare is that they serve crinkle fries! The only place I’ve had those were in my elementary school cafeteria and Sea World.
I like Del Taco much better than Taco Bell. I used to go to Taco Bell all the time to buy Star Wars toys during their promotion for Episode I. Taco Bell is gross. You might as well just throw that stuff in the toilet and skip the whole digestion phase. In fact I threw up Taco Bell once, and I vowed not to eat it again. My Doctor said I should stop making runs for the border. Del Taco makes most their food fresh, Taco Bell’s food all comes premade in plastic bags.
This Del Taco is around the corner for my house, so if for some reason I cannot drive to buy food. I’ll happy to somehow get myself to Del Taco and get some tasty stuff.
