Bernie was very helpful on putting a kala ukulele UBASS ASAC-​FS together.
I bought it as a basket case and bought all the missing parts from KALA. This new cost $ 799.
Took 5 weeks for him to erect frankenstein. LOL.
WOW GREAT JOB BERNIE. It looks like new & my wife LOVES IT.
Next job will be my grandson telecaster so be ready BERNIE.

As I was doing research for a new project I was about to take on, I found B Hefner Company. I really wanted to build a strat that encompassed all that I wanted in a guitar, with none of the BS I didnt want. B Hefner gives a reasonable selection of bodies to choose from, at a very reasonable price. I settled on a 70s hardtail strat made out of swamp ash. Now I did not do any comparision of vintage 70s hardtails to what I received from B Hefner, that was not what my projects specifics were all about. The body I received had great american quality and craftsmanship. I order my body and neck unfinished so I could produce the color and finish I wanted. The neck that i ordered was delivered to me the way I had ordered it, and the same quality and craftsmanship was top notch. The owner had taken time out of his workday to answer any questions i had whenever i had called. He even invited me there to take a tour of his shop. It was a great experience working with his companies products, I just finished my strat and it plays and sounds *%$#in amazing!

These guys helped me out big time. My Gibson had a tap coil out under warranty. They ordered the part came in and fixed it in 5 minutes while I waited.
Christian owned too so you know they are going to go the extra mile to make it right!
