Peacehaven Farms

Today we celebrated the life of my friend, Mike Farrell, by serving at Peachaven Farms. Peacehaven did a wonderful job of welcoming us and explaining to us what they are about, and what we could do to help. We worked hard and they provided everything for our project. The project leader was so kind and helpful, always answering with a smile. The head honcho, Buck, was so grateful for our service, and really understood our need to honor our dear friend. We had 40 people, which was a large group for the small area we were in, but they made sure we all felt a part of what was going on. They made sure the day was «ours» so that we could talk about Mike, and do whatever felt like we were honoring him. We will be going back next year, but maybe even before then!
