The Party Transit

Horrible, and I really hate writing negative reviews but I would hate to see someone else burned like my friends and I were.
Here’s the deal. We hired this party bus for a bachellorette party with expectations that it would arrive at 8pm and drop us off at 3am. We get a phone call the afternoon of the party saying that if we want the bus we paid for then we will have to be picked up at 7pm. Otherwise we won’t be getting a limo style bus instead we would get a bus with rows of seats. Great. So we get picked up at 7pm. Here comes the first line of total bull crap, the driver says he has to pick up a group of special ops guys and drive them to the airport so we are on our own for the next 3 hours. Really? I think looking back at everything that he just wanted a nice long dinner break. So, we hang out for a while and bar hop. When we get back on the bus one of the girls is missing her CDs. We toss the bus, can’t find them. Again, nice. We move on to another bar in another town. We are there all of 20 minutes, it is 12:30am at this point. We get a phone call, if we don’t all get on the bus now to go home then we have to take a cab because the bus driver claims that he has an emergency and has to leave. Wait, WHAT? Seriously, if this was a professional limousine service wouldn’t there be another driver who could come relieve ours?
Now, let’s talk about the bus itself. I am sure it was nice back in 1995. It’s old and has NOT been taken care of. The door had to be rigged with some screw thing in order to stay shut. The air conditioning was broken so we were all baking in there all night. There was a disco ball screwed to the ceiling that I am shocked never seriously injured anyone, I feel bad for the person who is on that bus when it flies off. The lights were missing all their covers so we had bare lightbulbs glaring in our eyes all night. And it was filthy, dusty, dirty. There was a piece of wood screwed over where the stereo used to be with a little car stereo stuck in a hole in the wood. Oh a a beer bong which we were invited to use… um no thanks, it looks dirty as hell.
This place is going to be reported to the Better Business Bureau. None of our expectations were met. He was even refusing to refund any of our money until we all got in his face about it. He claimed the bachellorettes credit card will be refunded for 2 hours, this remains to be seen but I will update if it happens. The thing is, when he was calculating how much he would owe us he had us paying him for the 3 hours he was gone. How did I miss that last night? Dang!
And after all this he actually asked the bride to consider him for her wedding day! What an a**h***!!
