Wonderful shop! Andy and John are amazing! Take your car here with confidence that they will get the job done right the very first time! Had a huge rear wheel bearing issue on my ’04SVT Focus(they both needed to be replaced) also my rear brakes/rotors were shot so they also replaced those as well(at a discounted rate in fact because they were already replacing bearings)! Ran into a lil trouble while fixing them due to all the rust that had incurred in my undercarriage over the course of 12 years, which ended up breaking one of their tools! Somehow with all of that they were still able to fix everything properly and my car has never sounded any better! Also, I was fascinated to learn that most of the regular maintenance jobs(such as oil change, coolant flush, transmission fluid change, and brake fluid change) is at least 30% cheaper there to be done than lets say your local Valvoline?! They just gained a new regular customer!!!

I had a positive first experience at the Hamburg garage. I chose them because they were so close to home but will go back because of the service. Cost was probably on the high end of what I expected but the repairs were done right the first time and the customer service was first rate.

What a Great New full service auto Place! Very knowledgable staff and eager to Inform about the work they perform, or suggest! The place was clean, staff was courteous, they gave me a free loaner and the prices were much cheaper then the dealer ! A+++

I consider myself a pretty old soul despite my younger age. So when I bring in my 1987 Volvo 240DL to any shop for the first time I am extremely critical of not only how they treat my car but how I’m treated as a customer. I have to say I was beyond impressed with how I was immediately treated as a long time customer and how I even got to have a brief chat with the tech that would be working on my car(Quite the personal touch!!). Having an older car they gave me some free advice(the best kind!) on things to monitor to maintain the quality of car and things to look out for without trying to gouge my wallet just helpful tips. Now I’ve got my baby purring again and while I’m hopeful that I don’t have to return that soon… next time I need maintenance on my boy I’ll be going to Hamburg Garage! Thanks team!

Let me start out first by saying I love only a couple miles from Hamburg Garage formally known as Martin Automotive. Had great experiences in the past but, that changed under new ownership. For example I wrench on cars myself but there’s certain tools I do not have. Today I needed 2 ball joints removed, and 2 new ones installed. Along with a wheel bearing. I brought the garage all the new parts and the knuckles I removed from the car contains the joints and bearing. After waiting 25 mins for a quote, because they couldn’t figure out how to charge labor since the parts are off the car. The came up with $ 245!!! I questioned that. He said it’s half what the labor rate is to do the whole service on the car. Basically saying a 40 min job is billed as a 3 hour job! I walked out. And went up the street to Mazur Auto. Dave new exactly what I wanted in 5 words. I came back 1 hour later and he charged me a fair $ 65 bucks. Any shop that doesn’t even know how long it will take off the car, and has to reference the computer is a shop I don’t want to go to. Then sticking me with a $ 245 quote after I did all the work removing the parts, and bought new parts… It used to be a good place, now it’s not. Go to Mazur’s! They even have free pop, coffee, snacks, and their waiting area is like a living room! …After I made this post I received a very complete apology from this shops manager. He was apologetic, and explained they are working to find better service writers. For the communication I am bumping them up to 2 stars from 1.
