It’s one of the better ice cream stops in town, and definitely looks a ton better after finally being remodeled this last few years. It’s one of those places that are great for a first job, so you’ll find a younger staff on board(it’s not a bad thing they’re great)!

The quality of service at this DQ has hit the skids. It took the crew three tries to get our order right. The first time, they created the wrong item. The second time, they left off the extra whipped topping we paid for. Even then, after five minutes, from the drive thru to our living room, the ice cream was soupy! It was 68 degrees outside and there’s no way that ice cream was served frozen out the window. No way. The owner needs to fix the speaker on the drive thru because it is distorted and fuzzy and cuts in and out. And the owner needs to scrape the peeling paint from the shabby looking building and give it a fresh coat of paint! This franchisee obviously doesn’t care about DQ standards — are you out there, Warren Buffet? This used to be a great DQ and it is not anymore. Sad. Get your ice cream from the little shop on 119th near the post office instead.

It’s not only about my obsession with m&m Blizzards but this Dairy Queen has the best staff. It’s mostly teenagers but they are really polite and quick. I’m not going to lie, in the summer you can find me here at least once a week and honestly I haven’t had anything other than a m&m blizzard. Their location is both a blessing and a curse– right behind my house!
