The food was excellent, nice sports bar with a lot of TVs. The service was nice, they made sure our drinks were full. The only issue was a lack of seating, but it is a bar so there’s that reason. The kitchen was out of steaks and the food took awhile to get to us. However it was worth it in the end. If you’re on the lookout for a good burger place in the area, you can’t go wrong here.

Very disappointing… the experience started out well with friendly servers but it went downhill from there due to very slow kitchen. The quality of the food was ok at best. We had a variety of items burgers, wraps. Nachos, chicken tenders. They have only been open for a couple of weeks so hopefully they will improve.

So my gf and I get to this place cause she grew up in WW and she likes this place(my first time here) and the the Girl/Server(blonde hair, about 5’2″) behind the bar instead of greeting us, says: the kitchen is closing in 5 minutes(in a not so friendly way), if you guys want food better order now. then walks away, we wait about 7 minutes and try to get the girl’s attention, when she’s close I ask, can we order? She doesnt even tries to look at me and says just a minute, walks away and talks to the other girl and pretends to be busy, then goes and tells the other waitress(who was actually pleasant) to come take our order. 2nd girl takes our order, I order a Classic Burger w meat well done, 3 minutes later the server comes back and says that it would be an extra 15 minutes to have the burger ready cause the kitchen had to make the patties. At this point I was tempted to cancel my order and walk out, my gf told me to wait so we stay, I get my food 10 minutes later, the burger was nothing close to well done, pink in the inside medium rare at the best. I didnt wanna make a scene or return the food ’cause I understand it was close to the kitchen closing time and Im familiar w the service industry. Point being, the food was just an okay meal. The service was shitty(apart from that 2nd waitress) and would not want to give it a second shot cause i dont believe coming back to a place youre not welcomed to.

Went into this sort of dive bar in downtown Whitewater Saturday afternoon with my wife to kill an hour or so before heading to dinner with our son. About 12 beers on tap and very nice, diverse selection. Wife and I had the cheese curds and nachos which were both were very good. Bar tender was very attentive(maybe the Black Sheep should hire her) and food came out fast even though the 4 others at the bar had just order. Highly recommend the cheese curds and a beer at Jack’s if passing through.

Good hidden gem on Main Street. Just wish you could see in the place so you could see the awesomeness behind those big doors. We took the plunge on a Sunday and stepped inside. It was worth it. Nice original exposed bricks make a great industrial bar theme. Great burgers and they have beer battered fries that were excellent! Patty Melt and Fat Jack burgers were large, juicy and full of flavor. Great drink specials and I signed up for the rewards program to get some free drinks and food in the future.

My companion and I stopped by last night to watch the Bears-Steelers game. Our server/bartender was pleasant enough throughout the evening, however, she was trying her best to usher us out while the game was in progress. Unbeknownst to us, the bar apparently closes at 9:00PM on Sundays.(Google information indicates 2AM close and Unilocal suggests a 4PM close.). Seems to me that closing time is left to their discretion but at least let us know. Although she claimed to be «new», she could have easily said«last call» or something to that effect. When I tried to order another round with 5 minutes left in the game, I was told that they had shut down for the night. This after a 20% tip for questionable service. We come here fairly often and spend $$$ especially following golf outings. I enjoyed coming here even when it was The Huddle. Other establishments were open and were equally surprised to hear of their early close. I hope that Mr. and Mrs. Wokasch read this and take appropriate action. She was complaining to her friends(who she had no problem serving after 9PM) that she was tired from a some«all-nighters» and wanted to go home. She was giddy about her tips though… While I sympathize with her to some degree, we probably had the largest tab she’d seen that day(or ever) and we had tipped her well despite her being unaware of what American Express is(!) or whether the bar carried wine(it doesn’t). Maybe it was because I was wearing Bears gear, but shutting down at 9:00 while purporting to be a sports bar is bad business in any state. Although options are limited in Whitewater, I will take my business elsewhere in the future.

Great specials, good burgers even though we weren’t asked how we like them cooked and fries. On a friday night without a packed house, service was still pretty slow. Curds were nothing to write home about. The night we were there, Even the nice beers were being served in plastic Miller Lite cups for that genuine college bar feel, I guess. Would definitely return to see if a lunchtime shift went any smoother.
