Attention parents! Keep this FREE indoor park on your radar during the cold and wet months. You will thank me when it’s too cold to go outside and the whole family is suffering from cabin fever. This multilayer jungle gym is heaven for kids and parents alike! Traders Point Christian Church generously provides local families with a clean, safe and active play area. It is similar to the indoor playgrounds you used to see in McDonald’s and Discovery Zone, but waaaaay nicer. It includes a small area for babies and toddlers, the main park that is big enough for all ages, a rock climbing area, a food area and two family restrooms. There’s a sign-in sheet at the entrance to ensure the play area isn’t over capacity. The church offers volunteers to supervise the area, to an expert extent. Parents can’t just drop odd their kid and run errands. I like this park because it’s a family environment where parents can enjoy the blessing of an indoor playground when the weather doesn’t permit kids to stretch their legs outside. And did I mention that it’s free?

First of all, I can’t believe this place is FREE!!! If I lived nearby, I’d be here almost every day. So much fun for little kids. I would have easily paid $ 3 to get in. In fact, I recommend you guys start charging and hire some more staff. The toys need to be cleaned and so do the slides.

Sooooo this is free. And MUCH of the time you get what you pay for with FREE. Let’s say it’s FUN for kids FOSHO. But is it really anything else — um, no. They do have free wi-fi so you can«work». How anyone actually accomplishes that is beyond me! It is so loud and during rainy days in the summer, INTENSELY crowded. Sometimes to the point where I would lose my children and they would be standing 4 feet from me. I also hate that my little one would get«stuck» and I could NOT find her. Luckily a mother knows her own child’s WAILS so well, I can usually track her down by sound even over the 100s of other kids. Now…it’s free, so there’s that. The staff is friendly. The idea is lovely! And when it’s NOT packed, it is like a storm has passed and the beach is empty and you can RUUUUUN for miles. I love those days but they are so unpredictable you are ALWAYS taking a risk that you will lose your kid in the monkey maze. Some parents give a shit about that and some clearly do not. Tip: Wear socks and don’t plan to really work. Keep expectations low and if someone pees inside the crazy ass monkey climber, just know that EVERYONE has to get the eff out of there ASAP. Yes, this happened on one of our visits.

Where do I begin?! This place is exactly what I’ve been looking for to take my children to play and burn off energy when it’s too cold to go to an outdoor park. It’s an indoor playground with so many things to do, including slides(some small for young kids, some gigantic!), rock walls, a trampoline, tunnels, a labyrinthine climbing structure, two basketball courts, hopscotch — I know I’m missing something, because this place is huge and has so many things. There is also a quiet area with a hammock for kids with special needs who might become overstimulated and need some time to decompress. Food and drinks aren’t allowed in the play area, but there is a room with tables where you can eat. We went on a weekday at around 10 a.m. and it was crowded but manageable. By 12, though, this place was a zoo! Probably early morning and late afternoon sees the fewest crowds. I almost forgot to mention the best part(well, two best parts): This place is free! It’s attached to a church, which funds it. I asked the woman who was supervising the area if there was somewhere to donate money(because I like the idea of this place existing), and she said, «That’s completely not necessary!» The other best part is that there is a drive-thru Starbucks just down the road. Score!
