This place was really bad! I think as I drive by now it’s closed! Little cakes… little dreams!

I’ve found the cupcakes here to be a bit denser than your average cupcake, which is sometimes a good thing and in this case I think works for the flavors. They offer certain flavors I’ve never seen anywhere else, like the coffee cake cupcake. It’s design always seems flawed though, and the crumb portion is more like straight up brown sugar than crumbs. Their red velvet cupcakes have cream cheese icing and a sprinkling of cinnamon on top, a nice addition I’ve only ever seen done here. If you only get one cupcake from here get the rainbow one, it’s not just vanilla cake with food coloring. There is actual almond paste in there! And it’s topped with chocolate frosting, great idea, I was impressed. It can be hard to translate one dessert idea into another.

okay so i was torn to review this place… it’s really a 3.6 I wanted to give it atleast a 4 … but taste is more important to me than service by a nose … considering the(price) x(taste factor) divided by exceptional service. I ended up with a 3.6 … but i love the small business ownership … going against the grain … taking a chance attitude. it’s small and worth a stop if in the area …

I passed by this quaint little cupcake shop in Whitestone on my way to eating lunch and made a mental note to pick up some cupcakes after I was done. The store itself is small and cozy. I think there was only one table and two chairs. The menu consisted of about 10 different cupcakes and a couple of drinks. I picked up 4 different cupcakes for a gift– got the Red Velvet, the Bed Rock(Fruity Pebbles infused cupcake!), the Lemon Poppy, & the Nutella. The 4 cupcakes cost a total of $ 7. I only tried the Nutella but it was really fresh and the frosting was amazing. It wasn’t too sweet and just the perfect amount of moistness. According to the website the cupcakes are baked fresh daily so no staleness here(although my friend picked off a fruity pebble off the Bedrock cupcake and commented that it tasted funky). Cute place and I would definitely consider going back there to try the rest of the favors!

Was in Whitestone Queens and saw this ‘little shop of cupcakes’ across the street that sells small cupcakes. The shop is simple; you’ll see one small window food storage for the cupcakes. The cupcakes are really small and good for 1 to 2 bites. The red velvet is approximately measured 1 bite and the lemon is 2 bites(well, depending how you want to bite). They are a $ 1 dollar a piece(quite expensive for a small size) or $ 12 for a dozen. I had the red velvet and did not like it; it was dry and the icing was really tiny like a dot. The lemon, however, was fantasticly delicious and has a little bit more icing on top. If you want small sweetness bites of cupcakes, they have them here if you are in the area.
