Great beer from a local brewer. Small and friendly environment. As a local it’s nice to have good local made beer close by.

My wife and I had driven by on our way to Weathervane Inn on Valentine’s Weekend. The next day we had some time to kill on Sunday, and decided to stop by and check out Fetch Brewery before dinner. There aren’t many restaurants or stores open in February in Whitehall/Montague so it was great to see that they were open. We found a table by the window and walked up to the bar to get our drinks. Neither my wife or I are knowledgable beer drinkers but I enjoyed my Distracted Pale Ale and my wife ordered a Moscato – I know, it’s a brewery, but it’s good to know they have a few other options as well. There weren’t really any food options but we saw others bring food in from local restaurants and there was a nice Tex-Mex themed food truck outside as well. As far as the atmosphere goes, the brewery did an incredible job renovating an old bank. They even have the original vault! The vault has board and card games you’re free to use. There’s a loft and a lower seating area near the bar. What a great, unique place to relax and spend time with friends and family! Even though they don’t really serve any food options, I’ll give this place 5 stars because of the relaxed atmosphere and great beer.

Fetch has brews some of the best beer in the Midwest. I’ve not had one beer that I didn’t enjoy, and the changing tap list make this brewery a must visit. The vibe of the brewery is great and they let you bring I good or support the local food truck that pulls up outside.

I’m reviewing from the point of view of someone who doesn’t drink beer! The use of the space in the old bank is amazing! Beautiful atmosphere. Earthy and edgy. No food served but you can bring your own! Even order delivery!

One of my favorite spots. Friendly relaxed atmosphere and knowledgable staff. If you’re hungry you can order from a variety of local restaurants or hit Bone Ends(food truck typically parked outside). Games, pop & ice cream for the kids. Check their FB for events like open mic, Brushes & Brews, Trivia Night and live music. Their brews are exceptional. Try Tree Stump and Swagger!

A great little microbrewery. They do beers wine and snacks. You can bring your own food in. Find the dime hidden in the vault of this nicely done old state bank.

Neat building. They do not Fetch the beer, but that’s okay. Would have preferred to sit at the bar-that was the place to be

Loved the beer! Such a great atmosphere and so many beer choices. Have been to lots of microbreweries and this one has such great character. The Pumpkin beer is amazing! Brewery is built inside of an old bank and has a great ambiance.

Great atmosphere(love the vault) and great brews! I tried several and fell in love with the Pleasure Pit Apricot wheat. So natural tasting! I had two pints and brought home a growler… I’m craving it now! If they bottled this would be my go-to!

After spending two days at ten different breweries in Grand Rapids, I wasn’t expecting much from a brewery like this. However, Fetch was surprisingly good given the location! I had a flight where I tried Distracted, Tree Stump Stout, Pleasure Pit(really good!), Zesty Piper, Mad Swag, and Welcome Black Kotter. There was another one in there but I don’t remember what it was… Anyway, all of the beers were really good! I’d tried dozens of beers in the days before coming here, so I think I was at the point where I was really particular about what I had. Most importantly, I am NOT an IPA drinker and turn my nose up at the taste of heavy hops, but I really liked the Mad Swag(TRIPLEIPA) here. Maybe it was the high alcohol content. Don’t pass this place by. The vibe is great, beers are good, and they even have games in a neat little vault area!

So I came in twice amd both times there were kids everywhere taking up a lot of seats. Beer is good but I would like to sit down when I drink it in a kid free zone. This is a bar. Kids dont belong here.

My wife, our two children(ages 4 and 1.5) and I stopped by for a few beers tonight(well, us, not the kids). I called ahead and asked if it would be okay if we brought two young children in. The person I spoke with said, without hesitation, «No problem.» We were able to get a table, our kids colored in their coloring books, played with toy cars, etc., and it worked out great. We felt welcomed by both staff and other patrons, enjoyed a few beers(had a designated driver), and a great time. I love that a guy can take the family to put a few bucks in the local economy and slug down few delicious beers.

All in all in SUPER impressed with this brewery! I go to school in Kalamazoo so I live around some pretty big dogs in the craft beer industry. And theses boys can hold their own. I think this is exactly what this town needed. Such a cool little hole in the wall place that really respects the art of craft beer. Starting, the environment and layout of the bar is awesome! Love the loft upstairs(fun fact the chalk board was a door to someone’s apartment) and the floor plan is wide and definitely allows conversations and people to flow. Also, can I say that I absolutely adore when a staff is educated on the topic of craft brews. And damn these gals knew their stuff. She even made recommendations based off of my pallet and my preferences. Also there is this super cool bank vault that is now re-furnished with board games and a penny tiled floor(you’ll see what I mean) all of the tables and countertops are re-worked wood from the original building. The devil is in the details man. I would totally come here again.

Awesome beer! Great atmosphere in a historic building. Great staff! I highly recommend stopping in here, better than the two breweries in Muskegon.

Had the opportunity to stop in here again this past weekend. They now have a decent lager on tap, only problem we had was there was very limited seating available on Saturday. IBU ratings are also no longer posted for their beers.
