Crowning Glory

I’m a big fan of Crowning Glory. Crowning Glory is owned by a very nice man named Barry who does all the haircuts from a barber shop attached to his home. Around the time I was in high school (approximately 15 years ago), Crowning Glory had an excellent local reputation (and still does). Several friends and I (and our family members) went to Barry. Years later I still go to Barry.
For a period of a couple of years I lived in Washington D.C. and went to several hair salons in the D.C. area. After trying these salons, I ended up coming home monthly for haircuts at Crowning Glory.
The quality of haircut is excellent. The value is also excellent. He’s an avid artist (which reflects in his haircuts) and very informed and intelligent. In addition to receiving a good haircut, it’s a pleasure visiting him (he’s very personable).
I think his schedule is as follows: Appts Mon, Tues, Thurs, Friday, and Sat after 11am or so. Open chair Sat am (I’m not positive though, so you might want to call for clarification).
If you’re from the area, you may have heard of Crowning Glory (especially if you live in the Northampton, Whitehall, and Parkland areas). If you’re new, I highly recommend Barry and Crowning Glory.
