This is a great place to get all of your hair and beauty needs taken care of from the owner Gillian to Dan who is the manager, Monica St. Peter is one of the best besides doing a great job on your hair she also will have you laughing. Kellie is great to take care of all of your facial and hair removal needs and Melissa does a wonderful job taking care of your nails. All of the staff there are professional and do a fantastic job in whatever area they specialize in. You can’t go wrong making an appointment with any of the staff

Amazing experience! After being «botched» & totally tramatized by other salons in the area my facial lady told me to check out the red Union. I made a consult appointment w/​Gillian & Monica about my grey, ash, copper blonde highlight botch & they were very knowledgeable on what my next steps were to correct the botched blonde highlights gone way wrong!!! Monica did a fantastic job on the cut & deep condition glaze! Love my hair! Based on their recommendation I am giving my hair a couple more weeks to «heal» then I will go back for the real blonde highlights. They have a new customer for life! Highly recommend them you won’t be disappointed or botched like I have been for the past two years.

I went in this morning, needing an extreme change with my hair, and Daniel NAILED it! It’s hard not to have expectations, and being a meticulous artist myself, I often find myself disappointed… but I am absolutely in love with my new hair. It’s better than the reference photo I brought it! One thing that I really liked about the salon as a whole, is everyone seems like they are a team… helping one another out with ideas and advice… great vibes in that place for sure. I will definitely be going back to Daniel next time :) thanks!

I was referred to Michelle by a friend because I am new to the area. The salon is average in appearance. I was greeted upon arrival and told to have a seat. Michelle came and got me shortly after and was very nice. She listened to me about my hair and styled it the way I like. I had the roots colored, highlights, cut and styled and found the price was reasonable. I was there about 2 hours and I found her to be pretty quick which I really liked. She also told me you can book online.

I am so happy that Melissa joined the Red Union team. She did an absolutely incredible Manicure, two weeks later, I am still receiving compliments. I highly recommend her services and I will definitely be returning.
Brandi not only gives your hair a rockstar Blow-​Out that lasts for days, she also gives the absolute best head massage during your service. All for $ 25. I am a regular and highly recommend her, especially if you are looking for a hair style that will last for days during your vacation or regular work week!

I booked an appointment for my daughter for a haircut the day of my hair appointment. Each time when I arrived no one acknowledged me or even said hello. I sat for over 15 minutes until a stylist came to me and noted she was running at least 15 – 20 minutes late and we could go upstairs for coffee. We waited a few minutes, when upastairs for a cupcake and coffee and she stylist was still not ready and at this point she was over ½ hour late. I am very disappointed in their customer service, and general unfriendly behavior. The salon is dark, dank and its clear that even though they are the most ‘popular’ place in town, they have outgrown their britches! I can see by the empty chairs that this business will continue to go downhill unless they do something fast, total bummer!!!

I am a beauty snob. It’s my industry. Moving to a new town and finding a new hair stylist is hard. Especially since I usually show up with Pinterest pictures of cuts + colors that small town stylists haven’t had a chance to learn.
Brandi nailed, like seriously nailed a perfect sandy minked blonde and slightly jagged long bob Best cut + color I’ve ever had and I’ve grown up in salons.
Bring a picture. Know what you want. She’ll steer you towards the best version for yourself.
I walked out of there with perfect Kate Moss on a good day hair, which is my go to.

Brandi is the BEST. She really listens to what you want and is honest with how she thinks it will look. I loved my new haircut so much that my mom went back the next day to get hers done from her. She takes her work very seriously and loves what she does.

We loved this salon for my recent wedding. We had our nails (and pedi) done by Kristi and and Tara they did a beautiful, professional job. We were running late (twice) and they worked with us to get the job done (even fitting in a gel manicure last minute). We were so busy and running around like mad women trying to put our wedding together, and everyone at the salon put us to ease with their professional but relaxed manner. Stephanie did our hair for the event and did an absolutely beautiful job that exceeded my expectations! I didn’t know what I wanted for my day of hair (and I had a difficult hair piece to work with), but after a consultation I would not have done it differently. I am so thankful to the Red Union gals for the wonderful work they did to make our hair and nails look lovely and for helping me feel confident and beautiful on my wedding day. Stephanie also gave my sister a last minute gorgeous cut that made serious waves at the rehearsal dinner. My sister’s only regret is that she doesn’t live in Whitefish for Stephanie to maintain it!!! We highly recommend this salon for mani, pedi, cuts and styles — including wedding day styles by Stephanie. Did I mention its extremely reasonable?!

Best Schwarzkopf stylist in the west is here at Red Union Salon in Whitefish. Gillian is incredible. If she’s not available (she is usually booked solid for weeks) Sadie, Stephanie and Kristi are great as well. All around my fav in the valley.
