Service was good but the food was average. My husband had steak and eggs and said it was tasteless.

Very good food! The eggs Benedict were wonderful! Service was good, the breakfast potatoes were oily, I wouldn’t order those again, but everything else was worth bragging about.

This place rocks. Many people don’t realize they serve dinner and that’s an advantage because you can usually get a table. Great service and everything we have had here is great. Get the huckleberry salad dressing it’s wonderful. The pies for desert are excellent. And prices are reasonable. Only reason I didn’t give it 5 stars is the atmosphere is not up to 5 stars.

Always love the lemon raspberry French toast, but please… remover to order a half order! Servers work hard. Lots of locals. Always good.

Best breakfast in In the valley. We live in Bigfork and drive by all the truck stop food type places(HEEHEE ha ha) to eat. Their pie’s and desert’s are to die for. Yum!

Had breakfast there this morning. Tables were empty but waited about 10 minutes at the door. Ordered Ham & Eggs. Service was slow and waiting staff just walking around with no purpose. Had to cut the Ham with a knife & hash browns tasted like cooking oil. We did not experience a good meal here.

What a great place for brunch! We were staying at the Lodge on the Lake, but preferred to have a more down-to-home experience at a local joint. The wait at Loula’s was longerish for Sunday mid-morning. However, the food didn’t disappoint. Had a half-order of the lemon french toast with raspberry jam on top. Coffee was decent. The staff were nice, but seriously busy; I felt bad for them. I’d come here again.

I’m literally sitting here right now, and I’ve got to say, the atmosphere is great. The food is amazing, on the lukewarm side, but still delish. The coffee is strong and the mimosa’s are cold. I will defiantly return! 11−1−15

Excellent food. Four of us were visiting in Whitefish Montana to explore Glacier National Park. We had a fun full day and we’re hungry but not in the mood to cook. :-) we looked on Unilocal and found this restaurant has great reviews so we took a chance. Turns out it was a great choice. We each had a very different kind of food in fact my husband had breakfast. The food was exceptional and the wait staff and kitchen staff we’re excellent. I highly recommend visiting Glacier National Park, staying in Whitefish Montana which is only 30 minutes away and eating at Loula’s restaurant.

Good food. Great coffee. The selection of pies caused me to forego brunch and go right for dessert! The key lime pie is delicious with huckleberry drizzle. Don’t order it if you’re not a fan of key lime pie, though. Once I ordered it, I regretted it because it was hard to pass up all the other pie choices.

I got the breakfast enchilada and the boyfriend got the Stumptown omelet — both are addictive unfortunately I didn’t take any pictures bc we inhaled everything coffee and cappuccinos were both delicious and super fresh. Everyone’s friendly and warm, our friends who are locals said this place was awesome– it didn’t disappoint !

Visiting from Illinois and decided to try for breakfast. I had also heard that she had amazing pies and I couldn’t pass that up either. The food was delicious and the service friendly. They were busy at the time(11am on a Saturday) but I got a table quickly. However it did take some time to get the food. I would definitely return and recommend the restaurant. Had room for pie and got a great sized portion that was amazing.

Having heard about their pies, we stopped by Loula’s for dinner. I thought that I would go for the chicken pot pie but learned they were sold out. The waitress, quite friendly and attentive, suggested the chèvre stuffed chicken breast, and I thought, «why not?» Wow– for lack of a chicken pie I discovered greatness! The chicken breast was accompanied by black-eyed peas and Hopping John with chunks of sausage mixed in. The chicken itself was covered with spices sprinkled over a rich balsamic vinegar reduction, and when I cut it open, hot melted chèvre and cranberries oozed out like lava, blending with the peas, the hopping John and the balsamic sauce. It was amazing! We tried two slices of their dessert pies, the mixed berry and huckleberry-peach, and they were also very good. Their reputation for pie was well earned. Service was excellent, the wine was adequate, the ambience was O.K., after all, you’re in the basement of the old Masonic temple and voices bounced off the walls and ceiling, but the food just blew us away.

When asking around for the best place for fresh, good food in Whitefish, THIS was the place recommended the most. Sure enough, it delivered that and more. Service was good, too. I went twice in a two-day stay. I had a big salad each time. The ingredients were fresh, and the combinations interesting and delicious. I also like that the dressing was served on the side. And, oh my, THEPIE!

Wow — this place was a very pleasant surprise and we enjoyed it so much that we ate here three times. The coconut crème and key lime pie are literally perfect and are to die for. The staff provided great service and were pretty cool people in general. The atmosphere was great as the building is historic. Don’t miss eating here while you are in whitefish

Loula’s is a restaurant in Whitefish downtown to get your scrumptious breakfast/lunch fix! I had no idea this place was so popular as I only found the name of the restaurant somewhere on a paper I had a hold of… so I was very surprised that upon entering the door and walking down to the basement where Loula’s was located, I was greeted by a large breakfast/brunch crowd(locals and tourists) who seemed to know how Loula’s is the place to be for breakfast/lunch! I like that their breakfast portion is big but yet still affordable. My SO had their Chubby Yuppie which came scramble egg with veggies, bacons, home fries and rye toast(my SO really like their rye toast!!)(less than $ 10) and I had just one biscuit and gravy($ 4). We also each ordered bottomless sodas and ordered key lime pie with huckleberry compote sauce to share(based on a recommendation from our host who answered key lime pie with huckleberry sauce when we asked what her favorite pie here was) and the pie tasted wonderful! The crust was still crunchy and the huckleberry sauce together with the key lime custard balanced the sour and sweet tastes out really nicely. The bill was around $ 23 without tips, so it was definitely a good, fulfilling breakfast with good taste(and healthy for our wallet, too)! Highly recommended if you are looking for a great place with good crowd/energy to have your brunch/breakfast while in Whitefish downtown!

Back again in May/June and just love it. Took home a slice of Huckleberry pie and savored it after dinner. The grits are AMAZING will want those again and miss them when in Colorado… Make sure you check the specials menu board before ordering, there are some tasty options.

came here for breakfast and the place is always busy. six of us crammed around a small 4 person table and the server didn’t seem to mind. I ordered the French toast with a fruit cup side. The fruit cup was disappointing only have grapes and melons in it. the French toast was very good and filling. would like to try this place again for dinner as everyone raves about it.

Came here for breakfast. As I was told it’s a local favorite with amazing huckleberry pie! I was definitely blown away by my experience. The wait staff was helpful and friendly. Was greeted and seated as soon as I walked in. I ordered the lemon stuffed French toast(my mouth is watering again as I’m recalling the dish), eggs Benedict with white truffle oil, and huckleberry pie. The French toast was delightful! You simply have to try it. Yolk on the Benedict was prepared so well it tasted like candy! Not to mention the hint of truffle oil just made the already amazing dish even more rich. Was so stuffed at the end of the meal I had to take the pie to go. Heated it up the next day and it was still so amazing I could only imagine how good it must have tasted fresh! I would honestly visit Whitefish again just for this superb restaurant again. Thank you for your hospitality and heart warming food and service, Loula!
