One of the best Thai places I’ve ever been to. The red curry is excellent. I’ve also had the orange chicken which was superb. I keep trying to order other items but the curry is so good I keep ordering that! My friends have said the pad Thai is also very good. The atmosphere is very cozy, don’t let the façade fool you. The staff is a bit eccentric but they will quickly warm you over.

The food is great. The orange chicken is super good, their combination fried rice is great and the service was awesome. I’m craving some right now, too bad they close on Sundays.

10/26/2015 I love this place, I’ve been enough times to write a decent review so here goes. The food is all good quality Thai, enhanced by such reasonable prices. The restaurant itself is a very unassuming place in a strip mall on Cherry Ln, but don’t let appearance alone fool you, it’s a gem. In addition to the expansive dinner menu, they also offer a weekly lunch buffet that is quite a deal, but not a very large selection. Try the curry! And go as spicy as you think you can handle.

Wow what a good hole in the wall place this is, I visited this restaurant during summer and was very impressed with how good the food is. The owner is Thai so u know you’re getting quality. I’m not good on dish names but everything I ate was very delicious and next time I visit the Ft Worth area I will definitely stop here again

I just LOVED this place. Where do I start? The location is in an unassuming older strip mall down Cherry Lane from Lockheed in White Settlement. My wife, myself and my youngest all came here to eat lunch. My wife was hesitant and I was confident. If a place he 4 stars and plenty of reviews on Unilocal it hasn’t steered me wrong yet. They have spice rating of 1 – 5 here, they say jalapeño is about a 2 on their scale. They will try to tone it down from what you ask for initially to be careful because the heat has given them problems in the past. If you like spicy try a 5 and see, but definitely be accustomed to it. They are fairly serious about this. The great: 1. Orange chicken —(yes I realize it’s not really Thai cuisine, at least I think not) — The orange chicken is the best thing I can imagine this place could ever have. In my life I have NeveR ever had orange chicken this good. The mildly sweet but fantastic crunch the fine people at this restaurant put on that chicken is the absolute most amazing thing to hit orange chicken since the orange. It is enough by itself to make you love this place. You can go click away now and I could end this review now and that would be enough to say about this place. 2. Pad Thai — it’s what you typically compare Thai places with and I had it here as well. It was darn good, I had the chicken pad Thai at level 2 ½ and added some more spice and it was perfect. It was above average but not the best I’ve had. The best I’ve had was in Lubbock at Thai Pepper so far. So try it it’s worth getting. 3. The service– the service was great for us, the girl taking care of us was very talkative and she was the daughter of another lady that waitresses there also. She was very nice, was informative and everything came out hot and flawless. 4. Thai dumplings? appetizer — I can’t remember what exactly it was called, but it was great. I believe it’s water chestnuts and pork. It was steamed and came with a dipping sauce that was perfect with it. 5. Egg rolls– it looked more like spring rolls to me with the thin wrapping but perfectly crisp and balanced. All in all great. They also have curries and various other items but I haven’t tried them. Cons: — no boba, which made me kinda sad but that’s okay that orange chicken made up for it: D — I don’t mind the hole in the wall look and feel but some may so I wanted to note it. — no buffet for lunch the day I was there, but that’s ok I may not have found that orange chicken! Okay so go try them out, you won’t regret it!

It is not good anymore. The orange chicken, which I used to love, was too sweet. The rice was mushy. The herb chicken was over boiled. The pad thai was flavorless. The egg rolls were filled with a slim layer of vegetable mush. The waitress skipped refilling my water twice when she made her rounds. The cashier made a sour face at my child when I paid. They kept running out of food.

When Mama Tiki was the chef and is never omg with her husband, Ronny, BH was a wonderful drink g experience. Unfortunately, the new management and chef is not Mama Tiki. They bought the name and reputation, and those who visit now are not privy to the delights of Mama Tiki. Skip BH and head straight to Happy Bowl in White Settlement.

no no no no no. Just go to Happy Bowl .5 miles away. The hot and sour soup here made me sick, and my pad Thai was underwhelming, particularly because the chicken was low quality and ill-prepared.

Great food and service. We had the chicken fried rice and pad thai. We thought both were delicious.

The restaurant is in a plaza, chillin in the cut. The restaurant atmosphere feels like a modern home. I had a vegetable soup with diced veggies and a while lot of vegetable broth which tasted flavorful. My entrée was the Pad E Ew. It wasn’t to my expectation. The noodles and meat were dry. But there was flavor. I don’t think I would order that again but I did sample my wife’s panang curry chicken and it was amazing. My wife couldn’t finish her food, so I ended up finishing her food. Next time I’ll order the Panang Curry Chicken. Overall, we will return. The restaurant is cool.

The flavors are strangely off. The green curry is overly sweet and the pad ke maw tastes more like Chinese stir fry. The rice bowl they gave for the curry was disproportionately small in size. No brown rice offered here either. My belly is sad.

Just ate there for lunch. Today was their buffet. Gross! The food had been sitting there for awhile. Not much food there to begin with. Only one server and she was too busy to refill anything. Orange chicken was crunchy coating… no chicken. Thai Rice and Noodle is way way BETTER! Don’t waste your time or $$$.

(Can’t review a place I haven’t been but Unilocal is forcing me so I took the middle of the road and offered a 3; will update once I have firsthand knowledge. Rationale follows.) Well, though I haven’t been in a couple of months, recently heard(and it was verified by a Star Telegram/Bud Kennedy article) Mama has opened a new restaurant and is no longer here at Bangkok Thai, which necessarily means this restaurant will certainly suffer, I’m afraid. My little birdy told me that Mama has been kicked to the curb, pushed out of her own restaurant due to a variety of circumstances and that her new restaurant is somewhere near the Benbrook traffic circle. I’ll be heading there soon. Not sure how to rank Bangkok Thai since I haven’t been post-changeover but be forewarned that my previous rating no longer applies.

Best wontons I’ve ever had. Came in at 8:00p.m. on Friday. Could barely see it and surprisingly it was not very crowded. Must be the area its in. Friendly people and great service.

I had no idea what expect when we pulled up to Bangkok Thai House Restaurant. It is not fancy, but who cares what such delicious food and good service. I had Pad thai noodles… not too spicy which is the way I like it. We had the vegetable egg rolls… so good. We tasted the orange chicken thanks to a very nice young man… number one dish and we now know why!!! What made this visit the best is Pauline. She is so sweet and works hard to take care of everyone who walks through the door. I couldn’t believe she remembered my name at the end of the meal. Her daughter was just as nice… they worked as a team to take care of everyone in the building. Good mix of regulars(who made suggestions) and folks just discovering this hidden gem. Go through for good prices, food and service.

Great food, clean restaurant, personal friendly service. Had the lunch buffet and everything was fresh and flavorful. They even cooked more for us even though it was getting close to 2pm. Will be back soon.

This place is not far from Happy Bowl, but the food is way better. The buffet didn’t look all that great to me, but may be a good way to try different things and figure out what you like. Everything I have ordered off the menu has been amazing. Plus the service is really good and the ambiance of the place is completely unpretentious. They bring out a vegetable broth as a free appetizer. It is good. My faves: Thai tea, fried wontons and the yellow curry. It has a coconut milk base with potatoes and your choice of meat. The curry itself has a little bit thicker consistency than some other Thai places. It is hearty and perfectly spiced. A little bit pricier than a lot of Thai places I’ve been to, but pretty much worth it.

During the week for lunch it’s a buffet. It’s $ 7 if your only having water with the food. They had 12 or so options and the food was ok. It’s cheap, quick and easy so I think that is what appeals. I think for dinner time might be a better option if interested in trying. I would try to find a different place if you have the time
