Been here a # of times, save this gem for special occasions, this time was a gift certificate, started off with wonderful ambiance, piano player, softly doing his job on Saturday night, nice hum in the room, wait staff, manager, all top notch, sat us, bread, water, noshing stuff on table, waiter announced specials, took our drink order, and was on the move, menu is deep, had our 11 year old with us, so had to ask, if they could simplify, ravioli, to resemble home, cause Michael wants red sauce, no garnish, u know, we all have one or know one, waiter said no problem, appetizer, fresh mozzarella, clams, crab cakes, all on the mark, main courses, zupe de pesche, unreal, also 37.00, but unreal, my wife had a pasta dish, she loved. Large size dishes, excellent timing of food, not rushed, bread replenished, beautiful, wonderful experience, will go back.

Amazing ambience, loved the free valet parking service. Everyone on the staff was attentive and polite. The food and drinks were on the pricier side and we were disappointed they didn’t come with sides. The overall quality of our dinner dishes were slightly above average but definitely lacked the«wow» factor. Overall nice Valentine’s Day dinner but for the price we expected a little bit more.

Went there tonight for dinner with a friend. They put delicious cheese, meat and bread on the table to start. We had eggplant rollatine and a half portion of squid ink pasta and baby lobster tails for an appetizer. We ordered rack of lamb and assorted seafood over linguine. I told the waiter we were going to share the dishes and the chef so kindly split each dish in half so we each had individual portions of each dish. The dining room and view outside of the pond was beautiful. The service was great. The waiters were very attentive and kind. I finished with a cappuccino(had no room for dessert) … I would definitely go back and highly recommend.

I have for a number of years now used Mulino’s as my «go to» restaurant for special occasions. Most recently there was a birthday celebration in the family. It was a simple table for four. The service was flawless the food as I have come to expect was was excellent(no surprise). What sets Mulino’s apart from other high end dinning establishments in Westchester is simply the the staff lets you enjoy your meal. You are never rushed from course to course the staff is attentive but never overbearing. They want you to enjoy the evening as much as you yourself want to enjoy it. Dinner at Mulino’s is not just dinner it is an evening out, and when your with good friends celebrating something going to Mulino’s only makes it better… Thanks again

Excellent service. Unfortunately, tables are much too close to each other. Food is good, not great. Portions on the small side. For the prices they charge, we were overall disappointed.

Had a nice dinner at Mulino’s after the Miss New York pageant a few weeks ago. I was satisfied by the service and ambiance. I also liked the green beans they had out with the bread before our meal. This is an upper scale restaurant with usual-suspect menu items. I had a veal dish which i though was pretty good. What I didn’t like is that it wasn’t served with anything. Normally at nice Italian restaurants such as these, dishes are served with a side like pasta or vegetables. My veal was a little pricey but would have been decent had it been served with something. They did however put out plates of diced potatoes for the table which were underwhelming and seemingly cheap to me. I don’t think that a family style serving of potatoes makes up for lack of side dish on an entrée. Otherwise, pretty good place and nice for a celebratory meal.

Been almost 7 years after moving to California since visiting the best Italian restaurant in the Hudson Valley at 99 Court St. They didn’t disappoint! Jimmy remembered us like it was yesterday. The service was impeccable with food quality to match. Now back in the area, Mulino’s will become our favorite again. Squid ink pasta for the main and the sweet sausage, parmesan, bruschetta to start the evening was as wonderful as I remembered.

Very disappointing dining experience in all aspects. This restaurant did not live up to my expectation of fine dining. My first impression was to walk out when we arrived; noisy crowd around hostess station, waited about 10 minutes before our presence was acknowledged. When we were finally seated, we found out that they had an entirely different menu than we saw on their website. In all my fine dining experiences the waitstaff would tell you the specials from memory, not read them to you. We did not get good table service, we had to flag waitstaff for service. We both settled for the spinach bolognese which was a joke. I’ve never had a bolognese sauce that was so thin in consistency; I’ve had better sauce in a jar. That being said I had a few forkfuls, it wasn’t worth the calories. I was anxious to leave, so I could go home and get something to eat. First time ever going out to dinner and leaving hungry. What a disappointment for a birthday dinner!

My family and I went there Christmas Eve. It’s a real fire hazard the way the people are packed in there. The owner must be paying off somebody in White Plains. Couldn’t even move our elbows to eat our meal or move our chairs back. Waiters couldn’t place the dishes on the table because lack of space. He has way too many tables in there. Next time ‘ll go somewhere else where I can enjoy my overpriced meal. Not worth the hype.

I loved my Winter Wonderland experience at Mulino’s a few years ago. The decorations and carolers gave me much-needed Christmas spirit. I was so looking forward to a great evening with friends last Saturday. Made my reservation in early November, and when I called to confirm, it mysteriously disappeared. Although there’s no way to verify, my friends think we were bumped for a larger party. I was told to show up to see if we could be «squeezed in.» Nope — that’s not how I want to spend a Saturday evening.

Last night I had the pleasure of dining at Mulino’s. My wife and I went with another couple who have been going regularly for years. It was our first time, and I promise we will be back! The welcoming experience begins before you even enter the restaurant. A(complimentary) valet takes your car offers you a ticket and opens the door for you to enter an amazing dining experience. You are greeted at the door by the maitre d and hostess who check in the reservation, and then offered coat checking services. We were early for our reservation so we opted to have a few cocktails at the bar. The two ladies working behind the bar were friendly and helpful with drink suggestions. I was impressed with Mulino’s extensive wine collection, and the owner was able to help the group decide on an amazing pairing with our dining selections. Upon being seated, the hostess carried our drinks for us, ushered us to our table, placed our napkins on our laps and introduced the waiter. Our waiter, greeted himself, and began asking if we wanted beverage service, while busboys simultaneously put fresh parmigiano regiano, bruschetta, warm Italian bread and cured meats to the table. We hadn’t even began dinner and I was already impressed! Dinner was impeccable, and dessert was fantastic. We were greeted goodbye as we exited and the valet promptly brought us our cars. Even though this restaurant is marked at $$$$, people need to remember you get what you pay for. The portions are delicious and plentiful, the service is top notch, and the atmosphere is delightful during the holiday season. I can’t wait to go back with my wife during the regular season. My only regret is that we didn’t discover this place sooner!!!

My wife’s client had their Christmas party here on a Friday in December and while I had heard of them before, it was my first time eating here. I will not bore you with a list of what we ate. Let me just sum it up by saying the food and the atmosphere were fantastic. We were treated as guests, not force fed and rushed out the door. The recurring comment was how nice it was to be able to linger and relax. Fantastic food and even better service and ambiance.

Our group was at Mulino’s for dinner tonight. The service was okay; it was a busy holiday night. The food was expensive for the quality and amount. The holiday decorations were enjoyable. The dining room was noisy, but it was possible to hear the person sitting next to you. The wines were reasonably priced. It would be better if the waiter told us the price of each special. It is annoying to have to ask. This should not be a secret. There is convenient 3-hour meter parking on the streets nearby.

The service is always fantastic. Celebrated my wife’s birthday here a few weeks ago and they bent over backwards to make it special for her and our guests. I have yet to have a bad meal here and I’m here often. Maybe I’m getting a little extra love as a regular but the food and service has been excellent from the first visit. Get the Mac and cheese done in the wheel of cheese. It’s not just interesting to watch them prep it, it’s also delicious.

Based on my overall experience here, I’d actually rate this place two stars but I have a strong feeling that it isn’t a reflection of the establishment and was just a one time thing. I came here for a birthday, we were a large party of 10 and had made reservations days in advance. We arrived around 7:45 for an 8:00 reservation and weren’t seated until 10. It was absurd. The place was packed(Christmas season) and there was no place to sit or stand, everywhere we moved we were blocking someone or in the way of the waiters, it was a terrible wait and my feet will never forgive this place for it, but apparently the party that had our table lingered after they got their check. We got a round of drinks on the house, and a complimentary bottle of Sambuca for the birthday girl. Once we were seated, they screwed up the package we had requested but apologized, and hey I’m a sucker for apologies. Now for the food, it was absolutely delicious, appetizers, entrees, deserts… everything was so flavorful and none of us could stop eating. During Christmas, the place is covered in amazing decorations and this should definitely be a holiday staple for anyone who lives in the area. There were also literally chestnuts roasting on an open fire outside, a nice end to the meal. Besides the wait, this place was lovely and I’ll definitely be back. Highly recommended.

Early evening dinner for two of us started with a warm welcome and a guide to the table in a secluded corner so we could talk. Bruschetta starter was a nice touch and it did not take long to find a beautiful and reasonably priced Barolo for the evening. Salads were super fresh and the salad of the day had fabulous ingredients which were combined nicely with a balsamic dressing that brought it all together. The ingredients included nuts and beets lettuce etc… Both salads worked well. Entrees were the salmon and the seafood pasta, both portions being generous and the accompaniments were equally superb. Great service, understated but attentive. Will go back.
