Faust Harrison Pianos

I bought my Steinway B, Serial Number 80 678, from Sara Faust in 1999. It was not an easy decision, but Sara was incredibly helpful. She not only picked out the best piano for me given my price range, but also pointed me in the direction of a reasonable loan company (Greentree — sadly they no longer exist). The piano had been picked up in an estate sale and had recently been rebuilt, so Sara was selling it «as is». I knew it wasn’t up to the usual Faust Harrison standard, but it was plenty good and the price was right. I knew that I’d be back someday for a rebuild.
That someday happened in 2013, and I have never been happier. I had everything but the furniture done: new action, hammers, trapwork, backchecks, soundboard, the works. And it’s a dream instrument. I’m so happy I gave myself this gift, and so grateful to Sara, Irving and the entire staff at Faust Harrison. They know exactly what they’re doing. The action is smooth as silk and the sound is achingly beautiful. When I moved from New York to Ottawa last year, I had to find a new technician, who was drooling within 15 seconds of inspecting the instrument. Like, literally, I did not say a word about the instrument, but within seconds he remarked, «Well, whoever rebuilt this knew exactly what they were doing».
A purchase of this magnitude is never easy, but if you’ve made the decision to do it, run, don’t walk, to Faust Harrison. I’ve tried lots of other pianos but none of them compare to the flawless work they do.

Absolutely amazing. The sales associates are sooo incredibly nice and this place has the best customer service I’ve ever came across. I bought a piano & bench from there and the bench had a loose leg so I went there and complained. The woman working there told me not to worry and that they will come to ME and fix it. They really kept their word! Shortly after someone came and actually replaced the item and gave me a whole new bench! I am so incredibly happy with this company. If anyone needs a piano, don’t bother going anywhere else but here! Highly recommended.

It’s hard finding a piano store these days, but we came across this place right down the street from the diner, while visiting family in NY.
We stopped in to browse and let the kids practice a little bit. The salespeople were great, Christopher Pfund in particular, and I was impressed at their knowledge about pianos new and old.
There was no super sales pressure, no hard sell, just nice people with nice products. If you’re in the market for a piano in Westchester, definitely give them a try.
