I’ve trained with head instructor Jojo Guarin since 2004. In that time I’ve known him to be a dedicated student of the art, a fierce competitor and a giving and attentive instructor. I’ve had the pleasure of training at ECU BJJ on numerous occasions and have been impressed with not only the skill of the students, but the relaxed and friendly atmosphere. I’m a black belt in Brazilian jiu-​jitsu and have been in the art for over 15 years, but each and every time I share the mat with Jojo and his students I walk away with a new trick.
