I always wonder if people who live in the burbs take for granted the space they have. This enormous Dunkin Donuts, located in the mall where Walmart is, must be a haven to the many shoppers who frequent the area. It’s spacious, with a seating area that dominates and appears to dwarf the bakery counter and display. Not a big coffee drinker, I usually pass through, noting many times the often bedraggled looking clients who patronize the place. Fascinated with huge airy spaces in stores, I always glance in. It of course has the standard Dunkin Donuts coffee, which I think is excellent when I drink it, and the usual array of doughnuts, complete with whatever special befits the holiday at hand. This time, I had the chocolate frosted with the fall colored sprinkles. You have to appreciate a place that gives out free coffee on National Coffee Day – which I never even knew existed before stopping in here. It’s a place to rest your feet and grab some carbs, if you don’t mind the raggedly feel of the place and sometimes the strange looking customers. Staff is friendly, if not somewhat slower in servicing in comparison to Manhattan joints.

This location is open until 9:30 and I walked in just before closing. The selection was a bit limited but the guy who helped me was very nice. You can’t see this store from the street. It is adjacent to Walmart. So if you can see the Walmart sign you can find this DD location.

Always have fresh donuts out of all the Dunkin’s local. Staff is friendly and courteous. The place itself is huge but that brings freeloaders and unsavory characters sometimes.
