Like the basketball courts, and soccer fields. The kids miss the old playground with ball pit area. Its now a lazer tag area. My older kids used to play in there for hours. My Younger kids love the bounce area. Both my younger boys play soccer here. Never any issues with the fields. In the winter it is a bit cold indoors. I do wish they owned the arcade games. I mean it sucks when you try to play a game and it takes your tokens. Then your stuck with the rest of your tokens because some of the other games wont accept them. But oh well other than the games. The kids like everything else.

Very disappointing all the way around. My daughter played in an indoor soccer session and the experience was almost enough to make many girls not want to play the sport anymore. We found that the primary focus of this facility is money and not sportsmanship or the sport itself. Rather than lose money when a group doesn’t have enough teams they allow those teams to play teams who are less experienced making for extremely unfair match-ups & co-ed teams that were far from co-ed. From teams who were allowed to run up the score while being unsportsmanlike, refs who didn’t pay attention, and an overall poor atmosphere — we will never play here again. Sports should be fun in a fun atmosphere. Freestate is not it.

We had a laser tag birthday party for our 9 year old. Perfect for the age group! Unlike some laser tag facilities, this facility does not use bulky vest and limit the kids to 15 minute sessions. Instead the kids got to run around inside the blowup maze/arena for an hour before sitting down for some pizza and cake. Teens may want something more serious but for the younger crowd this was great! The party rooms are more updated than the rest of the facility… and cost is good as they provide the plates, pizza, drinks, snack etc… costs you as much at home and no clean up required! Our 6 year old is looking forward to his Freezone party in November!

I organize an indoor soccer team that plays in the coed rec league here and so far my experience has been positive. The administration could be a little better(getting registration information was a minor pain, and they’re a bit slow putting schedules out) but none of the issues were serious. What I really like about Freestate is that they seem to do a good job of splitting their leagues into different difficulty levels. We used to play at the DuBurns Arena in Canton, but as a new & inexperienced team we were constantly getting crushed. The actual fields at Freestate aren’t as nice as the one at DuBurns, and they have some odd rules in their coed league, but overall it seems like a fun league so far. They also put all game results online, which is a nice touch.
