Dental Designs of White Marsh

So I had to get a tooth removed I was having the worst pain ever. So I went on Unilocal to find the closet Doctor and discovers. Dental designs. Dr. Santos & Dr. Wengs Team are awesome. I mean I was first welcome by Sandy who made me feel so comfortable. My extraction was simple and pain free & they are now my primary dentist. So please stop by. They are amazing

I’ve been looking for a great dentist and Dental Designs is my perfect fit! I love the staff, I love the service, and I love the office. Dr. Weng and his staff are absolutely infectious and actually care about their members. They really work to educate their patients on living a healthy lifestyle and how to properly care for your mouth. I’ve been to many many many dentists in my lifetime and this one is my absolute favorite, I highly recommend to everyone!

I haven’t been to a dentist in 5 years after having such a horrible experience with my last one, leaving me terrified. I found Dr. Santos online after looking at a ton of websites. From the first time I called to make an appointment, to today when I had my exam the entire staff was amazing. I walked in and was immediately greeted by the ladies at the front desk who took my information. There was a little fridge, keurig, and even snacks in the waiting room (not to mention the yankee candle they have lit) Felt right at home. The office is beautiful, it didn’t even look like a dentist office. Dr. Santos came to greet me after the assistant took my xrays. I have horrible teeth but she took time to explain everything to me, and even played me some videos to help explain some of the procedures that I needed. I was given a hot towel to wipe my face at the end of the appt and used some of the lotion they have stocked up in the bathroom! I have my cleaning next, but had a chance to meet the hygienists at this visit. The whole experience was great and I plan on not waiting another 5 years again! I found my new dentist!

I came to Dr. Weng for an emergency dental extraction due to an infected root canal from a crown that was leaking. I called and he was able to fit me in for an appt ASAP. The office was easy to find, plenty of parking spaces outside. When I got to the place, even though the staff was at lunch, the front desk acknowledged my arrival and took in the papers I had filled out prior to coming (FYI, it is also awesome that they text you AND leave a voicemail to remind you of your appointment for someone so forgetful like me) and told me to make myself comfortable while waiting. The waiting area was chic and comfortable, there were free mini bottles of water and Kuerig coffee in the waiting area. Unlike most places, Dr. Weng saw me immediately. The office is clean, new, and equipped with state of the art technology. I have had PLENTY of extractions and root canals done on my teeth before and I have always dreaded the injection and there soreness in the areas after the injection. Dr. Weng made sure I was comfortable prior to making the injections. During the procedure he made sure I understood and was aware of everything he was doing (sometimes while sitting there, you wonder what they are doing because you cant see anything and it can be kind of scary). To my surprised, the injections were almost painless and was not like my previous experiences. I had a pretty difficult extraction, the chronic infection has caused my tooth to fuse to my jaw bone. Dr. Weng explained that it may take a while before before and during the extraction so that I was aware of everything. Finally after the procedure was completed, the staff and Dr. Weng made sure I was aware of how to care for my teeth and answered all my questions. They even packed me a goodie bag to go! The real test came after the numbing shots wore off… it has been day 2 and I only had to take the pain medication 1 – 2 times. I did not have as much pain as before despite the fact that it was a difficult extraction. I definitely had a wonderful first time here. I am from the Gaithersburg area and would come ALL THE WAY to White Marsh to be taken care of by Dr. Weng, he is definitely worth the drive. I will be seeing him again for my implants in a few months. Will write another review of the experience.
