I used to live across the street from Graceland and I miss them so bad! Dave and Dave Jr. Are the best! I have known them since they’ve owned the store Great family, service and food! And big shout-out to Dave sr. wife she has always been a sweetheart! In fact I have to go there to get a gyro or a heart stopper sub! Hard choice both are great! Keep up the great work guys! Luv you

I’ve had carry out from here 4 times now. Each time has been outstanding. Gyros are silly delicious and best value around. Both Chicago style and deep dish pies are best taste in town, no question. Guys behind the counter are super friendly. I’m now a regular

The pitas, subs and pizza is excellent. This food is better than 90% of most restaurants in this area. There is a ton of meat in the pitas.

Ok. So driving down 59 into or thru white lake, you dont want to pass up this simple partystore delight. Inconspicuous as it seems, Dave and Dave jr have put together a menu that is hard to beat. From the famous gyro, to their pizza, the Ruben, and salads, its fine dinning 5 star food to go. Every person I take here for lunch ends up becoming a regular. No joke! You will LOVE this place I guarantee it. Side note. These guys are good people but be mindful of what Dave sr charges you for other items in the store. He likes to add on 50 cents to a dollar to your purchase hoping you don’t notice. THEFOOD is worth the stop tho. No doubt!

Yes they are that good. Like eating a huge football of deliciousness. I would say it really is the best Gyro that I’ve ever had.

This little Market makes the BEST and BIGGEST Gyros you will ever have the pleaser of eating, if you like Gyros, if not, they have a variety of equally good subs and pizza type food. Great beer, wine and liquor selection, it’s family owned and run, they are always a pleasure to do business with, they seem genuinely great full for your business.

Great place for gyros! That being said nothing else on the menu is worth trying. The service is lacking, it always seems as though you are bothering them when you go in there. If you can put up with that you can get the best gyro in the white lake area.

GYRO!!! I love Graceland for their Gyros. They are massive and delicious. The owner is a great guy who is always friendly and welcoming. I have had their Gyros and their baklava and nothing else so I can’t comment on the pizza or other stuff. If Graceland was in my neighborhood I would eat here a couple times a week, lol. Unfortunately it’s a bit of a drive so I only come out when I’m in the area. Beer prices seem good as well.

We love to grab a couple subs or gyros to go from here. The pizza is awesome too. The food is great, the owner and his son are very friendly and always take care of the customer. Plus it’s a party store so you can grab your chips, beer, and soda without making an extra stop.

This review is on the gyro here. Just the street food you are looking for. Selection of brews is a lo-light compared to that freaking drippy gyro flavor and texture. Def a liquor store feel, cool Indian tobacco statue.

Amazing gyros and great reubens(with either sauerkraut or coleslaw). The gyros are huge! Great selection of beverages and snack foods too. And did I mention that this is one of the best liquor stores around as well? Dave and David run a great store, and you really can’t beat their food. We got a Groupon to use here too… So awesome food at a great price as a result!(Even without the Groupon, we would still order gyros and sandwiches from Graceland!)

Really yummy gyro’s. Far better than in greektown. Good deal, lots of fresh lettuce and onions with it. By the cop dealership. Surprisingly good. The young man was kind and bonused me out.

Yeah, the gyros are fantastic! They just do them the right way. Lots of THINLY(definitely, the right way) sliced meat from gyro cone rotisserie along with thin sliced onion & lettuce and tzatziki sauce. Glad I was in the area and able to enjoy one.

I couldn’t believe that the dirty beer store I used to hit up on my way out to a buddy’s place on White Lake was getting thunderous Unilocal accolades for Gyros! WTH is going on? Well, I am a curious, hungry idiot who found myself on that side of town last weekend and I had to get it on. Nearly missed the place… strode in and it looked A LOT nicer than I remember from years ago. Elvis still bumping overhead and the nicest guy in the world(Dave) smiling in front of 3 vertical rotisseries of lamb/beef glory. Took some Unilocal advice and got the«Giant» with an extra pita(God knows the wife needs one too) and he instinctively knew and says«you want me to just divi it up for you? Put the tzaiki on the side? I know you got a long drive home.» I mean, WHAT??? What a nice guy! Both of them were HUUUUGE!!! and very balanced ingredients(sometimes you get those aholes who think packing your gyro with lettuce and onions is a good thing) It was SOOO big(dig this) I couldn’t finish it(that’s pretty crazy right there!) I threw the leftovers in a 3 egg omelet the next day and couldn’t finish that either(No lie… crazy right?) THEN this morning I took what was left and made a gyro omelet breakfast sandwich on an onion bagel.(Yeah, it was even better than it sounds… definitely finished that!) Needless to say, I have found my gyro mecca. Unfortunately, I am on waaay the other side of town… basically on the other side of Woodward from the Kalamata that just opened! Hoping to review them soon too. At any rate… Get in here people, the hype is real. P. S. that picture I posted looks funny cuz it is drenched in Frank’s Red Hot. (and, yes… I DO put that $#!+ on everything!)

It’s not often you see a solid five star establishment on Unilocal with this many reviews, and for good reason. Graceland is an absolute diamond in the rough. I only recently noticed the«Best Gyro In Michigan» claim on one of their banners, and since the location is ridiculously easy to get in and out of, thanks to an adjacent light on M-59, I accepted this as a challenge. Now, I’ve lived most of my life in Metro Detroit, so I’ve had gyros at countless coney islands, almost everywhere in Greektown, Mediterranean specialty restaurants like Blue Grill in Milford, up and down Michigan Avenue in Dearborn… I’m speaking from some pretty iron-clad experience without leaving the country. Graceland has the best gyros I’ve ever had. Without question. Nothing even holds a candle to it. The bread is absolutely perfect. Not too thick, not so thin that it breaks, flavorful but not overpowering. The lamb… oh, God, the lamb… absolute perfection. The cut, the moisture, the cooking time, it’s flawless, and they pile it on. Super fresh onions and tomatoes, and a sauce that’s wonderfully understated rounds out the experience, and it all clocks in under seven bucks. As a party store, I have to say, their beer selection is better than decent. While Pineridge Winery in Highland is still my destination of choice, I noticed a few things on the shelves here that even Pineridge doesn’t stock. That was pretty mind blowing, because they have literally hundreds of beers at Pineridge. Every time I’ve been, Dave Jr. has been working, and let me tell you, he’s one friendly dude. By my third visit, he recognized me and was shaking my hand like we’ve known each other since high school — and it’s not like I’ve been hanging out there where I’d expect anyone to remember me. If you even remotely like gyros or beer, you owe it to yourself to stop in.
