If I am in town I get my lunch meat here for the week. Always fresh and they are realistic on the prices. Hoagies are always good to.

Exit: 273 off I80 *PITSTOP* This guy knows how to make a sandwich. $ 4 hoagie of the day, can’t beat it. Fresh ingredients, huge portions, cheap prices. Don’t deprive yourself — go to Renee’s and grab an awesome meal. — Guy in the Giants Hat & the Chicago crew

Huge, cheap, delicious sandwiches made with quality ingredients by nice people. The meatball hoagie is five BIG meatballs with plenty of cheese and the right amount of sauce. Oh, and the rolls? From Jersey? Awesome.

Best hoggie I’ve had in years, extremely reasonable. We took the scenic train ride from Jim Thorpe to White Haven and discovered this gem by accident. Drove several miles the next day just to get back and get another one. Be sure and get a Kosher Dill pickle to go with your sandwich, also the best around, they specially source these.

We have been going here since this place opened and in the beginning I would have given this place five stars. Having known what their hoagies were like when they started out. To the lettuce on a non«New Jersey» roll that we got today. No have to say we will not be going back there because the draw for us having been from the Philadelphia area, were in fact the rolls! No, they weren’t Philly rolls but they were way better then the spongey rolls everyone sells up here. We kept giving Renee’s the benefit of the doubt because we did like their rolls. Even after my husband and I ate here twice in the past year and we both ended up with diarrhea two separate times. Now, that they are skimping on meat and filling their local rolls more with lettuce then lunch meat. We decided today that we won’t be giving them anymore of our business.

This place was referred to me by a friend and I have to say, now when I come into town to visit her this is the first place that comes to mind for grabbing a quick lunch. The hoagies are well made with fresh ingredients. Can’t beat the prices either! I would highly recommend stopping by to grab a tasty hoagie/wrap.

Made-to-order fresh subs and wraps that can be packaged to meet your needs… Lettuce and tomato on paper with packets of dressing on side. Recently ordered for a picnic along the Lehigh Gorge Trail… Convenient access for bikers and hikers. Cheap too! Only place for a sandwich along trail, north of Jim Thorpe. This is located at the White Haven Trail Head for the Gorge. Oh and don’t forget to get one of their big pickles to accompany sandwich!

Great hoagies and awesome staff! I am glad to have such a place so close to home especially since there aren’t too many places to go in White Haven. Tuesday’s are even better because an Italian hoagie is only $ 4!

If you’re looking for a comparable South Jersey Hoagie, look no further. The store smells like a hoagie shop should, a mix of onions, oregano, and cured meat. Fresh cold cuts, vegetables, and most importantly(New Jersey) rolls. Well worth the(surprisingly low) price and trip.

There is something about this place that just does it for me. It really it just a counter with some fresh cold cuts, but when the food is this good that is pretty much all you need. I am a sucker for an Italian sub, and this place did it just about as well as anywhere I have ever had. Renee’s is totally worth the trip and considering that the subs are huge and priced indecently well, you will probably be going back for more soon. Moreover, the staff there are amazingly friendly, you will wish that they had a couple tables stay and chat for a while!

This hole in the wall is terrific. The owner is from South Jersey and makes real Philly hoagies. We had Italian Hoagies. The cold cuts were delicious, sliced very thin and piled just high enough to create a burst of flavor without overflowing the sandwich. The owner brings her rolls up from New Jersey and they’re also perfect. It might be the best hoagie I’ve had outside of Philadelphia. And the owners were really friendly with great sense of humor. And it was cheap. I love this place.

Was referred here by the Blue Mountain Sports driver from Jim Thorpe, who dropped my wife and I off for a bike ride down the Leigh River. We split a hoagie and some tubs of sides. The bread was fresh, the meat and sides tasty, and the owner pleasant and conversational. After an unpleasant experience at a local Pizza shop, this place is going to be my regular supplier next time I’m in town!
