One of my favorite Planet Fitness centers.
This was the first gym I joined and I was member at this location for about 3 years. It’s a bit smaller than the other locations but the staff is always friendly, the gym is always clean and the equipment is never broken.
The only thing that I wish they had that some of the other gyms offer is 24 hour access and a bit more equipment options. Honestly I don’t think they can fit anymore due to the size, but it would have been nice.
All in all my favorite Planet Fitness in northern Jersey.

Great friendly staff. Only complaints are that they never have the fans on high enough. I mean its a gym for Gods sake why wouldn’t the fans be on high?!? This is my only complaint. I love coming here and enjoy their equiptment, but I really wish they would turn the fans on more.

I have been to several PF’s and although this one is smaller (no warmup, no stretch area), it is kept clean and stays busy.
The front desk honored my out of state black card by only having a photo on my phone of the card (I left the actual card back in Texas).

I have been a member of Planet Fitness in Whippany for about three years. I joined mainly because it is close to were I work .Plus the price is GREAT!!! ten dollars a month no gyms in the area can beat that price all so as a consumer I appreciate Planet Fitness not trying to lock
consumers into a membership were you have to pay hidden fees if you decide to leave just send them a email and that’s it. The downside to this gym is the gym it self is bare bones if you are just looking for machines and weights this is the place for you. Turn over rate among employees is awful and employee at times can be snarly to members which is not right. The ladies locker room most nights is dirty due to the fact they have few women on staff to clean it. But the worst problem I see is all the locker in the ladies locker room are dirty and need to be clean out. I have approach upper management when they have been visiting the gym to discuss the issue there reaction to my question was they pass the buck and blame the store management.

Good facility but with one MAJOR flaw. There is not consistently hot water in the men’s shower.

Have been a member of PF for about a year. I really like this gym. They have tons of treadmills (and other cardio equipment) so you never have to wait for a machine/​worry about a time limit. My husband likes their free weights and weight machine. I’ve done their circuit a couple times and found it helped the ½ hour workout go quickly. There are a ton of tvs each playing a different channel. The facilities are super clean-​locker room included. The clientele is friendly and non intimidating. The staff is always friendly. They offer group training sessions (the schedule is posted throughout the gym) which I plan to try this week :). All in all, you can’t beat the price for a straightforward, clean gym.

Have to say the employees here are amazing.. Always make you feel
home gym is in morris plains but feel the staff is rude in morris plains. I drive the extra 10 minutes because everyone is so nice here. Have to give credit were credit is due and this place is awsome! Wish Morris Plains had the same energy!!!

I’ve been to a few Planet Fitness gyms and this one is probably the cleanest and least full gyms around Morris County. The machines that I use are always available and in working condition. I tend to go to the gym between 6 and 7pm and multiple machines are open. #win. Sometimes the hand sanitizers are empty and that can be an annoyance. I haven’t seen the lunk alarm ring either :(also, if you aren’t doing the full 30 min circuit machines, do NOT even go there. An employee might yell at you for it. Other than that, great gym establishment.

This is a great Planet Fitness. It is super low priced and has all the equipment you could want. I have never had to wait to use any thing. Lots of TVs to watch while walking/​running. Customers service is fine, they will always answer any questions you may have, and if you make an apointment, you can work with a trainer.

Horrible customer service, I have only been a member for two days and already spoken to with an attitude twice. I also forgot my sweater in the lockeroom and called to have it kept for me. When I came back, the kid at the desk told me it wasn’t there without even looking for it.

Plenty of equipment to use. Not too packed at noon during the week.

This is your standard Planet Fitness, most recently opened in the area (in the spot that CVS used to be in). Plenty of bang for your buck with the low monthly fee– but bare-​bones programing comes along with that (for example, no classes). If you want a full service gym, join Signature across/​down Route 10 and pay the higher monthly fee and the joining charges.
