Good place to gamble

This Is A normal casino. Nothing great or worthwile. Doesnot. Worth the travel to get here.

WHATS THIS BOYCOTT ALL ABOUT ???
OK, heres the scoop. On November 12^th my friend Rebecca Leigh drove to Wheeling Island and Casino for an event (no drinking or gambling). She utilized the valet parking, and while the valet (s) had it… it was wrecked. While the damage wasn’t obvious at first it was substantial (over $ 2000.00). She noticed something might be wrong when she first pulled out but didn’t see that it was wrecked until she got home, and immediatley reported it to the casino.
So far so good, wouldn’t seem to be to that big of a problem… WRONG. While no one expected them to just say, «send us the bill», a little courtesy and decency was expected. After several weeks of un-​returned phone calls and condescending remarks, they turned it over to an attorney who said, …and I quote, «prove it»…nice! While there may have been a time when big businesses and smart ass attorney’s could tell people to go «F» themselves and not face any ramifications, that time has passed. People don’t put up with it anymore.
So what can you do to help? If you could do anyone of the following it would be greatly, greatly appreciated:
1) Join the BOYCOTT Wheeling Island Racetrack & Gaming Center FB group as a show of support (and if you feel like it, post a note support)
2) Get other people to join the group.
3) Go onto the Wheeling Island Racetrack & Gaming Center FB site and post a review that says, «I support the BOYCOTT Wheeling Island Racetrack & Gaming Center Facebook Group»
4) If your «really» motivated, Google the actual Wheeling Island Racetrack & Gaming Center website, go on the Contact page and send them an email saying, «I support the BOYCOTT Wheeling Island Racetrack & Gaming Center Facebook group».

Wheeling Downs is the only place I have legally gambled. I played Craps. Going into the evening my buddy and I walked into the casino having no idea how to play craps. We sat at a craps table for a solid 45 minutes just asking questions. The dealers were very nice and informative. After few beverages we started playing. I went into the casino with the mindset of losing 50 bucks. At one point I was up 190. I ended the night with losing a total of 80. We played for 5.5 hours with only starting with 60 bucks. Not a bad night. We had a ton of fun. I will be back!!!

It is a good casino and racetrack in an area where there is not much gambling. Poker tournaments are only $ 40 but a bit too fast paced for my tastes. Usually enough tables and more then enough slots. Restaurants are decent.

Wheeling Downs boasts one of the best dog tracks in the country, thousands of slot machines, and should have table games by the time you read this.
The Downs offers a good buffet, but also a restaurant which overlooks the dog track. In fact, the dog track is a unique and fun experience. And the $ 2 minimum bet can help you assure your substantial other that you don’t have a problem.
