Nothing that’ll blow you away, but they have solid burgers and beer. Best place to watch sports in the area.

This is a great place to eat for dinner or lunch. I am not a beer drinker but their cocktails are amazing. They do have«skinny» versions. Everyone is very attentive and food comes quick. The beer cheese fondue is AWESOME! Their ribs are also very good. Recommend this place for casual dining or some drinks with friends!

Went to this Ram Brewery to have a Blonde Ale with a friend. The Blonde Ale is great and easy going down. Cubs were on the big screen so I stayed and asked for a food menu. The poor service started when the bartender never came back to take my order after giving me a menu! It was getting very crowded so I flagged down a waiter passing by. The waiter was very apologetic and took my order for Tomato Bisque and Chicken Pot Pie. The Tomato Bisque was a very small cup but came with a very good hot pretzel roll. Not really a good value for the small serving size. The Chicken Pot Pie was presented very undercooked. The flavor was very bland with no distinction. Marie Calendar’s pot pies are tons more flavorful from your grocer. So, beer is great and the food I ordered was poor. Go there only to drink beer; not eat.

We have been frequent diners at The Ram, but tonight was the last time. Where to begin: The waitress was horrible. We had to keep asking for refills on our drinks several times. One person at our table asked if the dinner she was ordering was spicy and the waitress said ‘no’. Turns out it was unbearable to eat and sent it back for something else. When the bill came she had the returned meal on the bill. I spoke up and said«actually you should have not charged for her meal». The meal was removed. The food was mediocre. If the manager came to our table and apologized for the service, maybe then we would reconsider coming back. The waitress was so rude, she threw the revised bill on the table. It took her ten minutes to come back and get the credit card. The restaurant is so noisy, it was near impossible to have a conversation.

Whole my food was okay the service was horrible. After taking our drink orders the server did not return for at least 10 minutes and never came to refill our drinks after that. The server was not knowledgeable about the drink or food menu either. In addition my french fries tasted of fish, meaning they were most likely fried in the same oil…

What can I say. I got ripped off(my wallet) and the person I ate with got ripped up(bowel-wise) Our appetizer came out with our meal. Never seen that before. Had the steak sandwich which wasn’t as harsh going down as it was coming up. My associate had a prime rib sandwich. Looked more like an Italian beef and tasted like a shoe. I wasn’t a frequent diner here and I will never be going back to eat. Let alone the facial hand swipes of the cooks without washing their hands before continuing cooking meals. Needless to say I didn’t get the deal.

My co-workers and friends come here a lot after work to grab drinks and appetizers. It was quite crowded during my most recent visit because of the March Madness games going on but we were still able to grab a 3 – 4 person high-top table in the bar area. Our waitress was incredibly friendly and gave us good explanations of the selected beers they had on tap for the month. She was really good about coming by throughout the night to see if we needed anything. There are a lot of TVs around with different games on so you’re bound to catch any particular game you want to see. The drinks were good. The nachos were not that great. The atmosphere is perfect for a few friends getting together for a casual hangout.

If I were reviewing solely on the food and beer, RAM would receive 4 stars. Unfortunately for RAM, service plays into the review as well. Their food is a delicious and inventive take on American pub food. Their burgers, sandwiches, and entrées are all executed with their unique and sometimes subtle twist. Their service, on the other had is abysmal. Both the servers and kitchen staff are in a constant state of disorder. Often the wrong food is brought out to your table. When this happens, be sure to check your bill as they usually forget to remove the incorrect item. While the wait staff is usually courteous, they are extremely inattentive and will leave you waiting at your table for refills, to go containers, checks, and orders.

I went to the Ram last night with a friend at about 5:30. We live in the neighborhood and hadn’t been there in a while. We were seated in the restaurant in a booth and we waited 20 minutes for a server to come. When they finally came and took our order we waited 1.5 hours for our food and by that time we had to take it to go. We were told the manager would stop over to see us and he/she never came. We went home with our to-go meal, opened it and it was completely wrong. What a waste of $ 65! So disappointed! I rarely complain having been a server before but this was HORRIBLE service.

We had a large party and a diverse set of orders ranging from burgers to fish. General conclusions were great beer and service but food was mediocre to ok. Burgers were nothing special, waffle fries were stale, French dip was overcooked. Fish was OK Overall food is 2.5.beer was 3.5 and service was a 4

Do not waste money on this place! It was awful! There were more kids at this«brewery» than Chuckie Cheese! It’s very loud in there. We specifically made reservations and asked for a corner table. Even with reservations we had to wait to be seated. We were sat right in the middle of the dining room! Even our server couldn’t hear which may explain why he didn’t bring me extra lemons for my iced tea and why he forgot my salad. The food is awful. The potato skins photoed online look NOTHING like that! Two of the skins were burnt and had NO cheese on them. My chicken tenders were like ones you’d get at a zoo for $ 4 in a zoo food court. Not what was expected at all. I would choose another restaurant if I were you!

Used to be better. Bar seats are uncomfortable. Dropped all but one of our favorite vodkas. Dropped a bunch of appetizers. Dropped baked potatoes from the menu. Dropped the best salads from the menu. Desserts are nothing to brag about.

Went for dinner and drinks with friends last night. Service was excellent. Atmosphere excellent. Beer brewed onsite excellent. Having said that the appetizers were awful. It’s all processed food. We are the three easiest people to please. We decided to go for dinner elsewhere for our meal. We really like this place and want it to succeed. I doubt they have a chef and desperately need one. Should try using fresh ingredients with a creative person in charge. I gave it five stars because I don’t want to hurt their ratings and I believe management takes these comments seriously.

Very tasty and fairly priced! This will probably be our«Go-to» when we don’t have a taste for anything specific but want to go out somewhere. Dinner started with Cheese Curds(I don’t recommend, they weren’t anything special especially for the cost) but the sauces they came with were good. My husband enjoyed the beer, I had a long island both were good. He had the Pork Steak? Seasonal plate which was really good! Lot’s of different tastes. I had a steak with mashed potatoes which were tasty. I enjoyed the atmosphere, nice and big. Service was very good! Our server checked on us frequently and made sure our drinks were always full and that we had everything we needed. The only thing I didn’t appreciate was the manager that was checking the waitresses closing/side work. He seemed to have been very mean to his employee about having had not filled the salt and pepper to the perfect amount. That was a bit uncomfortable to watch.

I’m so very disappointed that one of my favorite places has fallen so far! We used to go to the rosemont location which was good, but when we moved to wheeling we switched due to geographical convenience. The first time we went was winter time and it was fantastic, I became obsessed with the whiskey chicken. I would even just stop and grab it to go because it was so good. They changed the menu and took it off unfortunately. So we went to eat there again anyway and it was like we were invisible. We had to ask for a waiter after 20 minutes to even get drinks. Then the waitress we wound up with was terrible, we sat with empty drinks the entire time. But the burgers we ordered were good so we decided that we would stick with take out. So today on my honey’s way home from work he said he would pick up dinner since he knew me and our little one were sick. We both had a taste for burgers so we ordered from the ram. I called in and asked for him a burger with cheddar lettuce ketchup and mayo. For myself extra American lettuce tomato ketchup and garlic mayo. He went to pick them up both were wrong… My burger had cheddar and onions which both make me sick. His had no mayo which wasn’t such a big deal but since he went back to get them fixed he had them make a new one because his would be cold. He came back and this time he checked the toppings which were correct. They told him to keep the other burgers as well and gave him a card for the next burgers on them. Then we cut into the burgers that we ordered MEDIUMWELL only to see that they were very RARE. He thought maybe because they were rushed to get us new burgers that they didn’t cook them long enough so I cut into the other burgers and found that they were neon pink as well. So now I was disgusted, Michael decided to try to eat the edges and spit it out. I didn’t bother. I decided I was better off calling and asking for our money back cause we could just go across the street to spears. I waited for over 10 minutes on hold to talk to a manager so I decided to stay on hold and drive over there. I took a screenshot right before I walked in(see pic) and when I talked to the two girls in front I showed them that I was still on hold waiting to talk to the manager. They ran and got him, he was dry nice and extremely apologetic but it was far too late for that. I handed him the bag of burgers and told him to please look at how RARE my medium well burgers were(see pic) he gave me my money back and offered to give us something but at this point I was half out the door. The two hostess girls were doing nothing when I walked in so they clearly could have hopped on the phone and let me know there was a delay or asked for my number to have someone call me back instead of letting me wait on hold for that long. So after three trips to the ram looks like we will be having Mac and cheese for dinner because after that I don’t want anything to do with meat right now

This is your typical American grub restaurant. They carry all the classics such as buffalo wings, onion rings, mozzarella sticks, potato skins, artichoke dip and fried pickles for appetizers. Entrée options of a variety of burgers, salads, sandwiches fried shrimp, etc,. I ordered the Santa Fe Rodeo burger. It was juicy and an overall yummy taste. I like the roasted jalapeño on top of the bun! As my drink, I ordered their Hefe on tap! So smooth. As our appetizer we ordered the big platter, which is not on the menu. :) Our service was really slow though. It took our server about 10 minutes to get our drinks and we were the only table he was waiting on. I will still come back here as their food is good, a good selection of beer on tap and prizes are good.

The Service is ok here, but its the Burbs! Great place for a beer and to watch games. Other than that the food is average at best. If choosing between a similar establishment around this area, go do yourself a favor and go to Twin Peaks!

Great fresh food as always, didn’t have to wait this time. Waffle fries were outstanding, not dry but crispy(perfect) my burger was amazing as well, I asked for very well done and that’s exactly what I got. Our waitress forgot couple of things on our order and we had to wait a while that’s why I think anyone taking orders in a restaurant should always write it down, otherwise everything was great. Looking forward to going again and maybe trying some salads of their menu since I haven’t yet.

Have been here multiple times with my co-workers since this is close to where I work. Today we went there for a work lunch and I ordered the chicken sandwich with the sweet potato fries. Couple of my co-workers ordered the salmon and veggies and the rest got different kinda burgers. On the whole the service was ok, food was decent, chicken was flavorful but was not tender. The sweet potato fries were good. This place is good for beers but I cant speak for that, cause I usually come here during work and I cant go to work under influence. lol

Was at conference at Westin. Came to RAM because it is local and a micro-brewery. We had a large group — 11. Service was fine. No complaints on that. Prices were decent — it’s Chicagoland area. Food was pretty tasty. I had the chicken and prawns over spinach. No complaints there. A couple of friends ordered ice cream cup cakes. Both of them liked their desserts a lot. It’s a micro-brewery so let’s talk about the beer. I had the Blonde Ale and the Hefeweizen. Both were excellent. I ordered a mug of hefe. That was too much. Atmosphere — it was a good sports bar. Kind of reminded me of an «airport area» type of restaurant. I don’t know why. Kind of corporate. Tries to be unique in a corporate way, but isn’t. Would I come back — I guess. I’d come back with friends, but it isn’t a must.

I came here twice. First time was a great experience, our server was really nice and attentive. Went there last night and our server only came around twice in the whole three hours that we where there. As we looked around for her she was sitting in the table across with what appeared to be her friends. Terrible service.

After the restaurant where my friend and I had planned to grab a pre-movie dinner was booked up, we were able to make a reservation through the Unilocal app at Ram Restaurant(although it wasn’t really necessary, since there was plenty of seating still available). The ambiance is exactly what you would expect from a chain brewery/restaurant: spacious, open, clean and modern. The service was good, as was the food – I had the Disorder Porter Chili and the Buttface Amber Ale. It wasn’t revolutionary, but it filled us up, and it was great that we were able to be seated right away.

So much fail in this place. Where to begin: 1. Have a kid that has a peanut allergy. 2. Asked if they used peanut oil. 3. Waiter says«yeah, well, I’m not sure.» 4. Manager 1 says«yeah, not totally sure, but the book here says you are good.» 5. Manager 2 comes over and says«We usually use Canola oil, but someone in the back used Peanut this time, so its not safe.» 6. We bailed, in an attempt to not have the kid die. 7. They charged me for the drinks we had.(Nothing comped even though they suffered from not knowing about anything in their own restaurant) 8. They then revoked the open table points that I would have gotten for making a reservation there. in summation, this place made me irate. Their forks were fine. Didn’t even get a chance to test out their bathrooms or napkins. My guess is they were made with peanut oil, and that nobody in the place knew what they were made of.

EH! Colleagues and I visited Ram to watch a game recently for lunch. I will admit that they were slammed as it was super busy and an ‘important’ game. We were greeted in a friendly manner and seated rather quickly, but after that, things significantly slowed down… It took a long time to get a server. Once we did, our drinks came quickly, but food took a really really long time. We had been there probably an hour before our food showed up. I ordered a chicken sandwich and I was really dismayed to find a piece of paper in it! Yes, a piece of that waxy paper type stuff that usually separate lunch meat and cheese. Obviously the kitchen staff was overworked, but it was sticking pretty far outside of my sandwich to not be noticeable. On the bright side, at least it was something I noticed before eating and also knew that it was something that is typically found in a kitchen. I realize I should have said something, bit since it was so slow, and since the sandwich was huge, I figured I’d eat around it. Taste-wise, it was ok, but nothing special. The sweet potato fries were probably the best part of the meal. So, lackluster food, friendly, but super slow staff and a kitchen that was obviously too overworked to pay attention to the food doesn’t make for a spot that I would frequent.
