Cheap, fast regular run of the mill seems like frozen fast food. Onion rings, chicken fingers, mozzarella sticks. Don’t get me wrong they were greasy and yummy, but I guess according to reviews was expecting a bit more. The pizza is what gives this place a low star review. it was thin crust, not a fan, but I know Chicago area is known for it. It seemed like a frozen thin crust pizza with little taste. Maybe I’m bias since I’m from NY. The service was friendly. It’s definitely a cute little dive(which I love), clean and fast. Great option for quick cheap eats. It did the job!

This is the real deal. This pizza is so good that there is NEVER leftovers. I’ve converted multiple friends to Joes and they are hooked. I hope this pizza place is around forever, there is no substitute.

LOVE Joe’s pizza in Wheeling! Its my go to pizza place when me and my kids need our pizza fix. We always order the family size, spinach and bacon pizza(my fave), kids love the hamburger or the regular sausage and pepperoni pizza. Everyone is always so nice there! Love their customer service. I’ve never eaten inside the establishment, but i just love bringing the pizza home or having it delivered! Fast service!

Very good pizza! My aunt recommended this place to me when I moved to the burbs back in 2003. It wasn’t easy leaving good old Chicago pizza. Luckily Joes pizza taste just like a good Chicago classic. I’m thinking it’s Italian owned? then it doesn’t matter where the location is.

My favorite choice for thin crust pizza! Toppings are always fresh and the sauce is top notch!

Old fashioned no frill restaurant. I believe that 90% are for carry out. Great thin pizza at reasonable prices.

I used to love Joe’s. Some of the best thin crust pizza in the Northwest suburbs. Then, one time, my wife and I went there for wings and pizza. It was delicious. Right as we were getting ready to leave, a family of cockroaches came out to visit us on the table. When we let the manager know, his response was, «yeah, we know. We can’t get rid of therm.» We won’t be going back. Ugh.

BF and I are looking for a staple pizza joint, tried this place and paid like $ 27 bucks for a mediocre pizza. Granted, my dumbass friend ordered«double dough» whatever that means, so that might have been why it was not the best. We’ll probably try again, but it’s just not worth the money IMO.

Joe’s Pizza is the best old school, thin crust pizza around! We usually order their thin crust sausage and green pepper pizza(a little well done). Their crust is like a cookie. We have turned many people on to Joe’s and they have become happy customers as well.

Great pizza! Their thin crust is pretty awesome. I ordered pizza from Joe’s three nights in a row, just to let you know how much I enjoyed it.

Went out of my way to try this place. Well worth it. Thin crust pepperoni and sausage was excellent with gooey cheese, flavorful sausage and crispy crust. They cook on an old school oven which makes some awesome pizza! Nice people too!

Decent pizza at an incredible price. My baby niece could house a large by herself and she is barely a toddler.

The lady who usually takes my phone-in order has such a great personality! The hot food is great but I’d suggest more veggies for the salads. Love the food here!

Little hole in the wall pizza joint. The pizza was good and the owner was very friendly. Those things made up for the horribly slow service. There were only four tables of people and the waitress kept vanishing for 10 minutes at a time. She never refilled our waters and took forever to bring the check. Also loudly complaining about how you can’t afford an iPhone to three of the four tables to try to get better tips isn’t going to work. The owner who was making the pizza was really friendly and welcoming and made up for the poor service of his wait staff. As for the food, the pizza has a very thin crust and was good, flavorful pizza. The only potential improvement is some slices were thin on sauce. The topping selection is decent but nothing out of the ordinary. Had a pie with mushrooms, sausage, green peppers, and onions. They don’t skimp on the toppings which is great. The onion pieces are put on in big chunks so be prepared to those to be larger than the other toppings.

I love the old school tough guy spartan look of their dining room. Just like how might have looked when they opened 45 years ago. Very good thin crust crispy pizza, gotta be in the top 10 in the Chicagoland area. Bucket of fried chicken is fresh and good too. Woulda been nice if they threw in some cole slaw with our big sit down order…

This pizza is amazing. It is probably the best thin crust pizza that I have ate. The place isn’t the cleanest, but you can’t hate on their pizza. I have not tried anything else from their menu, but I am sure it is as good. The reason I can’t give it five stars is because of how expensive it is. I do think that pay 25 bucks for a family size is a little absurd. I get that it is a family business, but they should also account for the people they are serving!

It’s hard finding good pizza places open late in the suburbs, so it’s great that Joe’s can satisfy my cravings til 1 – 2 am. The location is divey and it’s not the most welcoming place from the side of the road, but that neon sign is like a glimmer of heaven in the middle of nowhere. I went in and Joe? greeted me warmly and let me think about my order. My phone died so I couldn’t show him the Facebook offer for free wings, but he gave them to me anyway! I got a large thin crust mushroom and sausage pizza, which took 20 minutes. I sat in the little dining area in the side while waiting and the waitress was very nice as she checked on me to ask if I needed anything. Being here reminds me of stepping back in time because it’s an old mom and pop shop that even has a jukebox! The store is old, but it is very clean and I saw they even mopped the bathroom. Eventually, my pizza came and I took my food home. It tasted fantastic! Not too oily or greased up and the ingredients were fresh! My mushrooms were in different shapes/sizes unlike the canned mushrooms they use at generic pizza chains. The sausages were plump with a bit of spice. The cheese was the gooey, melting kind. Overall, a great pizza! The wings were also delish and are crunchy and fried to perfection.

THIS place is why I LOVE Unilocal so much!!! As everyone says about Joe’s, looks can and were definitely deceiving about this place… BUT, the THIN crust pizza is SOSOSODIVINE!!! Yes, it really is. From the flour-filled crispy crust to the homemade sauce, to the fact that each ingredient stands out on it’s own and yet creates such harmony all together. It’ just perfect. It’s fresh, perfectly cooked. I’m glad the outside of this place and the décor are crappy and outdated, because they put everything into the product and it shows!!! Don’t go changin’ a thing, Joe!!! Hands down my new favorite thin crust around… it’s incredibly good pizza. If you live or are anywhere around here, please do yourself a favor and stop at Joe’s!!!
