Creative Fabrics

I loved the women who worked here and the great love they had of sewing.
The fabric was a bit disorganized but super electric choices. As you enter you see a bed with a quilt on it and have two rooms you can enter. The register and cutting area is in the back so if you need help, go that way right away.
I got some great fabric and darling finger puppets.
I hope someday to be driving this beautiful coast again and buy some more!

Imagine our surprise when we found this wonderful quilt/​fabric shop in a town of 350 people. They have been in business 30 years and going strong. Wonderful shop, great choice of fabrics, great location on the waterfront/​main street. View from her sewing area was fantastic. Owner was extremely friendly. Had a great visit. Great fun!

I walked into this shop on Saturday afternoon and browsed around for about 20 minutes. The prices were okay — about $ 12 per yard on average which is much more than I pay for fabric online, but I like to support the small brick and mortar shops.
And I would have supported them and purchased some fabric had one of the two women at the counter taken so much as a minute to greet me when I came in or at anytime during the 20 minutes I circled around the shop perusing through the selection. But no, they couldn’t be bothered to do so. And it is unfortunate because I was planning to purchase 4 yards of fabric they had but decided I would just wait and order it online.
Too bad for them, their lack of customer service forfeited a sale.

Adorable shop, tons of great fabric and very good prices. I was truly impressed with the selection and the staff was very friendly. What a wonderful find!

This place is amazing. I was not sure what to expect from a small beach town fabric shop… but OH MAN THEIR FABRIC IS FAB! I never go in this place without walking out with a bag filled with yards of fabric. Took a class here with my sister and Mum… the teacher was fun — and the lady who owns the shop is great!

Fantastic selection. Great service! Had exactly what I needed to keep working on my roadtrip project!
