Wheaton One Hour Cleaners & Tailors

We have were a customer at this cleaners for over 2 years. Then one day we approached them about some bleach stains on a pair of pants and a polo shirt we received back. After leaving the cleaners (when we were dropping off a few more items) we received a phone call from the owner telling us we were never allowed back and «to come get the rest of our stuff.» It was shocking to be treated like that especially after we had been a customer for so long. If you are looking for a cheap cleaners, this is the place. The prices are the best but buyer be ware as your cloths are in danger and the owners care very little about the customer. We are moving in to «Dutchess Dry Cleaner» as we have heard they provide better quality.

Absolutely the wrong place for me. Having just moved to the area I dropped off about 15 items to be pressed. I explained to both staff people I spoke with that the items were freshly laundered and simply needed to be ironed. They assured me that they could accomplish this feat.
I take absolute responsibility for what happened next. I did not check my receipts until I was ready to pick the items up. It was at that point that I realized that they mixed my order in a way I didn’t understand. They marked some items as «dry clean,» and others as launder. All I knew was that the bill was considerably more than I anticipated, given the instructions to press only. The lesson here when working with this establishment is to check your receipt before leaving the store, no matter what they are telling you as you’re being run up.
When I asked the clerk who checked me out why they choose to dry clean items I believed would only be pressed she insisted that she was the one who took my initial order (that much is true) and that I never said anything about pressing. She went on to say that it was my husband that brought the next batch in and that he specifically asked for those things to be dry cleaned. I assured her that my husband would not know how to find the cleaners if I asked him to and that I was the one to drop off more clothes the day after dropping off the first set.
The clerk, who in my opinion, could not have been any more rude, insisted that it was my husband who made the drop off and requested dry cleaning. My husband later suggested that I should have asked her to describe him. I wish I had thought of that while I was standing there!
In any case, there is an establishment for everyone. I would never, ever visit this one again. Mistakes are to be expected in life. Rudeness is a choice and her behavior was enough to convince me that my business and money belong somewhere else.
The good news is that I stopped at another dry cleaners just down Geneva Rd., explained to them what I wanted, and was assured that it would be no problem. Hopefully, that conversation will lead to a long professional relationship.

Best dry cleaner service for the quality and price! We are moving nearby here and are glad that we have a reliable cleaner nearby as our go to for dry cleaning and alterations. Had my wedding dress cleaned here along with some sweaters. Service was quick and professional :). I had to delay pickup several times and it was no problem at all.

The tailors service is great. Took to pair of jeans and a jacket to get tailored. They did a wonderful job and very quick even, ready in two days.

I took my favorite pair of jeans to another tailor shop to fix the bottom cuffs which were all frayed from being stepped on. They said they wouldn’t be able to fix them and I should just throw them out. When I took them to Wheaton One Hour Cleaners & Tailors he did everything I asked for a reasonable price in just a few days. I came back with other clothing items and he fixed them perfectly. I’m definitely coming back he saved my favorite pair of jeans!

I love this place. Even though it takes me a good 20−30min to drive there, I think it’s worth it. I dropped off a peacoat and a formal dress that also needed sewing and I received it back in perfect condition like brand new.
Also the lady who works there is über sweet and adorable.

Walked in with a shirt that needed to be cleaned and repaired. Every other place said it would take a couple days.
The gentleman behind the counter took it and said it would be ready later that day, he was right.
Looks great and was only 7 $. Will most for surely be returning here for further cleaning needs.

Just wanted to note that the clasp on the pants I posted about three years ago is still holding strong and I wear them weekly. Now that’s craftsmanship!

My family has gone here forever to get our clothes cleaned. Wheaton One Hour Cleaners is owned by a lovely couple who also own the One Hour Cleaners located right next to the College Avenue train station. Regardless of where you prefer to drop-​off/​pick-​up, the clothes are transported and cleaned at this location.
I love that even though I rarely go in there, they know who I am and who my parents are (my parents frequent this cleaners). In addition to have gracious personalities, they are perfectionists — something I think is imperative when handling my nicest clothes. The owners go the extra mile to make certain that your clothes are perfect when you pick them up. Their tailoring service is top notch as well.
I am always smiling when I leave this cleaners because in addition to being great at what they do, the owners and their employees are so so kind and gracious! Who knew a trip to the cleaners could be so pleasant?
