Starbucks

This is why I prefer small bath roasters: almost every time I’ve gone in there one or a few of the barista’s are flustered and yelling at someone. I understand you trying to get out a ton of drink orders but do you really want to turn away customers in the process? That seems kind of counterproductive.

This might be the ONLY Starbucks I’ve ever been to and ordered Blonde Roast and they were out of it… I mean, for real??? I’ve looked past that though, and been back since that mishap. This is probably the closest drive-​thru Starbucks to my work. There is a Target nearby with a Starbucks, but sometimes you just don’t want to get out of your car. I tend to stop in here for my afternoon caffeine or after lunch. The drive-​thru line is usually not long, the service is decent… only they did run out of Blonde Roast. I’m a fan of light roast, but that time I did settle for a medium roast.

This is definitely one of the best starbucks locations I have ever been to. Their espresso always tastes the best here. This actually might be the best Starbucks location I frequent.

Very friendly and quick service. I have never had an issue with an order being incorrect and when I decide to switch it up and be adventurous the staff are all very knowledgable and helpful in finding the right choice. Although the drive thru is often super crowded, if you are willing to go in for your drink it is rarely a wait. I have gone here before to work on my lunch and it was a great location where people respected your space.

I don’t know how any coffee lover could not love any Starbucks! Yes, I know, the service etc right? Well these folks are always super friendly. The drinks are always awesome. So why the 4 stars then? Well, the system for taking and filling orders is flawed. I know it used to work and it does at their other locations but just not here. I have had to wait too long for my order to be taken and even longer for it to be filled. And there is often confusion in the order taking and filling.
When it comes to the most important part, which is the drink or food itself I can’t complain. Drinks are «usually» perfect. Food always is. I usually only get black coffee but I often treat myself to their fancy drinks such as the Frappuccino’s or lattes. These are far superior to any of their competition.
That’s all OK though. I still love the place! I will be a regular there until the day I die. There is also a somewhat newbie employee there who is the best worker they have. Her name is «Angie» or Angela. Nice job Angie!

Fast service, clean store, lots of tables and chairs for you to sit and study/​socialize. Parking lot is pretty spacious but can get packed during peak hours since the store shares it with a few other fast food restaurants.

This is my favorite Starbucks location!
I always go thru the drive thru. They are days when its really packed and days when its empty when I get there. But even on the busy days they are really quick. And I love the service! They are so nice! And they always remember me because I’m there at least once a week.

I am incapable of making my own coffee. Most days, my husband gets the french press going or brews some espresso, and my morning caffeine is taken care of. But when that doesn’t happen, out for coffee it is. With my toddler and newborn along, getting out of the car only to grab a quick coffee is pretty impractical, so I depend on the drive thru.
The person who took my order did a-​okay, but at the window, there was no communication at all. No «hello» or «good morning» when I pulled up, and no «thank you» or «have a nice day» as I drove away. I tend to be smiley myself, and most people reciprocate. Not here, not today. My iced coffee was just fine as usual, but GUESS WHAT! No straw. There are worse things in the world, but as far as coffee sadness goes, this is right below adding sweetener.
By virtue of being Starbucks and having strong, dark coffee that appeals to me, they get 2 stars.

overpriced! understaffed! get an omelet down the road at red apple, carol’s garden, or egglectic! stay away from empty sugars like scones, cakes, and muffins!

No improvement on the stars from my last review. My most recent visit was an inside visit. They were pretty busy for a Sunday afternoon and there were plenty of people working. Maybe I should say there were plenty of people standing around talking to each other because I had to wait until there was a lull in the conversation for some assistance.
Once they took my order I got it pretty fast. Then I moved to the only table left towards the back. After a few minutes sitting there I had to move. It smelled like exhaust! You know that airport exhaust smell that gives you a headache? That was it!
It didn’t stink in the front by the doors but it was a bit breezy. It’s too bad the nearby Dominicks got rid of their Starbucks center. That was soooo much better!

I frequent this Starbucks more than I care to admit — usually through the drive up window. I’ve also met friends at this location to hang out and talk. The staff has always been friendly, even when they are right about to close. They don’t have the most comfortable chairs to sit in, but there’s plenty of room so we’ve never had a problem.
The best part is in the morning when I hit the drive-​thru. There’s usually a long line of cars by the time I get there. But the line moves surprisingly fast. And they are very accurate with my orders, no mistakes yet. Oh wait, they did give me a hot latte when I ordered an iced one. But they quickly corrected my order and even let me have the hot latte.
If I could make one suggestion, I’d tell then to make their large venti size even larger. I can slam a venti down like a shot glass & hardly feel any of the caffeine buzz I crave so much.
My only complaint: It’s Starbucks, so the prices are a little on the high side. And I wish they’d offer a separate egg & cheese breakfast sandwich with no bacon/​ham, etc (I don’t eat pork).

The staff is always friendly and theres usually no lines.
Also, today I got free coffee !!!

Susan takes great care of me bright and early (6am) Saturday mornings sending me happily on my way to a full day of clients. I appreciate the efficiency of this location!

Met here for an early coffee and the baristas were so friendly.
Made a delicious tea latte and seemed like the fact that it was 5am didn’t phase her!

I will go out of my way to come to this Starbucks because of the drive-​thru. Yes, I realize how lazy that sounds… but I swear the parking is bad in downtown Wheaton. My mom and I come here on summer nights to sit outside, sip our frappacinos and people-​watch. Unfortunately, because of its location at a main intersection, it’s more like car-​watching.
Starbucks employees are known for their perkiness; however, I think this Starbucks takes the cake. I’ve never met such nice and chatty employees. And no, I am not employed there.
My only request is that they please bring back the banana-​loaf bread! Some locations still have it, but most don’t, and I think it is one of their better food items. Along with my iced venti white-​chocolate mocha, I can get all of my calories for the day in at breakfast!
