I can’t say enough about Lisa. I’ve worked with her for over 20 years and I so appreciate her talent, good humor, energy and kind heart. Lisa’s a seasoned stylist who’s never pushy and is determined to give me a great cut, color and style. Beyond that, Lisa shows genuine interest in my work and life. My time with Lisa is consistently enjoyable and I leave with a fantastic cut as well as ideas about what to do in Chicago, where to get a decent rate on a shuttle to Southwest Airlines, and how to navigate the homeowners’ policy when a tree falls on your house. Lisa’s a true Renaissance Woman and I wouldn’t trust my hair to anyone else.

Was going to be in the area for my daughter’s photo session and I made an appointment here to have her hair done. I don’t live around here and I had nothing to base my decision on other than location and Unilocal reviews. I was so happy with the service I received from Nicole. She trimmed my daughter’s hair and let her change into her dress before she styled it. Pictures turned out great. Thank you, Nicole!

I’ve been getting my hair done by Nicole for over 10 years now and even though I’m in Chicago, I still come all the way out here to get my hair done. She is no fuss and tells you exactly how it will look when you show up with a celebrity hair style. Also, after a couple years of fighting it, I finally agreed to try the Keratin treatment. I have crazy curly, frizzy hair, and if my hair was not given a lot of special treatment before going out, people were frightened. After getting this, I can’t even believe this is my actual hair! I am able to come to work with my hair still wet and it dries perfect and straight, and hardly ANY frizz! Highly recommend the treatment AND Nicole as your stylist. She is super flexible with scheduling but if for some reason you can’t coordinate a time/​date with her, the other girls in the salon are great, as well.

I love this place, and Nicole does a terrific job on my hair. I bounced around between salons and hairdressers for a few years before finding Image Eclips because they were all too expensive or too inconsistent. I’m now loyal to Image Eclips only!

I have been shopping salons and stylists for the last year and I feel like I finally found a keeper. I decided to give them a try since they are so close to my place. What a gem! It is a smaller salon that has a homey feel. They are not at all snotty or pretentious, just give quality service. I saw Lisa and she gave me the best cut I’ve had in a year! I am coming back for sure. Keep up the great work!

I get my hair cut here, and love it so much! Nicole always makes my hair look so perfect, next time I have to ask her how she does it. And all the staff is so friendly, they always say hi to you and try to make conversations. Plus, they sell really cute beauty products. And theres a bowl of lolly pops. Yumm. The only problem is one of the hair dressers doesn’t like kids that much, but its not important really, because this is a nicer hair salon anyway, and little boys really shouldn’t be running around like maniacs. (ahem *lady next to me’s obnoxious boys* ahem)

I was referred here by a friend who also has naturally frizzy/​curly hair for a smoothing treatment and honestly, it’s changed my life. I saw Lisa who has been doing hair for several years and really knows her stuff. She is funny, friendly and professional.
Let me get back to the hair thing she did. I had the Coppola keratin smoothing treatment done (twice now) and it smooths down curly hair, cuts down drying time and eliminates frizz. My life is forever changed from this stuff.
What truly sets her apart is the first time I was there I screwed up the name of the place on my check and instead of calling me to come back in she waited a week until my next appointment to collect the money. I felt terrible about my mistake and now I pay with my debit card.
It’s a tiny place but nicely decorated and worth the wait to get in.
