disappointing treatment by dr. lenting. pleasant enough of a guy, but he had no interest in finding the best, most up to date method to address my problem. in 5 minutes essentially told me i face a lifetime of misery, with no option… no hope at all… and i’m not talking about cancer or some dreaded disease. after seeing another doctor, it became clear that many options are available for treatment with far better assurance of «quality of life». he just didn’t seem to connect with that. while most of their office personnel are cordial… one was real pissy… they do not return calls in a timely manner. while trying to resolve medication issues i left several messages for the nurse, which had to be passed through the receptionist, and my calls were not returned… at all, until i called back AGAIN. unfortunate.

I took my Dad to the rush Copley Illinois Urological Institute and we waited 2 hours before we could even see the doctor! It is unacceptable to wait this long for anyone in this modern day of age when the appointment was already setup prior.

When you take the time to go to a specialist you would think that they are more capable than a general practitioner. From a business perspective, they have a standard procedure used to pad the bill, and none of it was helpful… it just added to their bottom line over several visits. Over several months every appointment started late with Dr Christensen, even when I was scheduled as the first appointment. Additionally, the test they ran and subsequent diagnosis was absolutely wrong — I lived with an issue for a year after he told me everything was fine. I went to a different doctor who immediately found the issue and started treating it, but the damage has been done. They don’t respond to messages, they obviously don’t care, and appear to be a perfect example of what is wrong with the US health system. over bill and under treat. Could I be more clear? IL Urology if you read this I hope this serves as a giant wake up call.
