Another fabulous facial with Gloria! I wouldn’t go anywhere else for skin care or a massage.

Best facial ever!!! Ms. Gloria really took good care of my face! I had so many problems and now my face looks clean and super soft. No more pimples, acne, enlarged pores and even the dark circles around my eyes are gone thanks to her facials and the awesome products she sell there. I wont ever go to another place, she rocks and my face is the living proof of her amazing job and dedication. This is not a regular spa, she really give you what you need. Looking forward to my next appointment.

What a find! I purchased a gift certificate at a silent auction for a deep tissue massage and deep cleansing facial. Gloria is a superb masseuse — she found areas of my body that needed attention that my regular massage therapist does not address and worked out a lot of tightness. The facial was excellent. I’ll be back for sure!

This family owned and operated business is a great find. Gloria is a superb masseuse. My husband and I both utilize her services. She provides great care for her customers. The spa is clean and newly renovated, and has a very nice feel to it. Glen, who manages the business is friendly and very helpful.
I highly recommend their services. Gloria is top notch and one of the best in the western suburbs. She is highly skilled and will help you with any physical issues you have having which can be addressed with massage.

I have been going to GT massage for about 4 years. I had only received massages up to this point. I truly believe Gloria is an excellent massage therapist. Today I received a facial for the first time. It was amazing. Gloria was as professional as always. The office was clean and warm (which is appreciated seeing how cold it is outside). The facial took about an hour and I left feeling refreshed and smooth. I appreciate Gloria and everything that she does to make me the best me I can be :)

Went to Stephanie about 3 months ago for a facial and it was GREAT!!! She asked what kinda of products did I use on my skin, made sure that I was comfortable, and was very gentle. I recommend that you see Stephanie for a facial, I know I will be returning.

I have never had a massage nor a masseuse better than Gloria. She is simply amazing and honestly, has set the bar for me as to what an enjoyable massage is supposed to be. No one, no where has come any where close to matching the refreshing way I feel after a massage. If I could afford it (and I still lived in Chicago) I would be there once a week AT LEAST!
I noticed some bad reviews here but these appear to be from a few years ago. I have NEVER had bad service or any of the issues some of the other Unilocalers noted.

I have been going to Gloria for over ten years and she is amazing! I wont go to anyone else, ever. She will rub out any sore or tense muscle, it may hurt, but it is worth the pain. She is a savior for runners with tight ITB, and will spend time teaching you proper stretches based upon where she finds the knots in your muscles. I am training for the marathon and she is the reason I have not gotten injured. Try her, you wont be disappointed!

I’ve had a lot of massages (we used to live within a mile of a massage school, and made great use of it), and Gloria is by far the best I’ve been to. She works your muscles so deeply and is so throrough that she often finds and works out problems I didn’t even realize I had until I found myself feeling better. We recommend her to all our friends.

I’ve been getting massages from Gloria at GT massage for the past 10 years, and she is the absolute best at deep tissue work — providing me both with relief from sports cramps and lingering pain from working at a desk too many hours a day. She is prompt, professional, and well worth every dollar! Believe me, I’ve tried all the other local places during their new customer and ½ price massage specials — and there’s just no comparison. Although I no longer live down the road from her, I stop in whenever I’m in town, and my last appointment with her was about 6 weeks ago — Oooh I miss her already!

I have been going to the owner of GT Massage, Gloria, for years, and her deep tissue massage has helped me tremendously with neck pain, back pain, and pain in my wrists/​forearms from computer use. I favor her deep tissue work, which can be painful if you have problem areas, but the results are profound. (Of course, she will go lighter if you ask, but I’m interested in the therapeutic effects of working out knots and tight muscles, and this is not easy.) She creates a soothing ambiance with lighting and music, and often uses hot stones, which she keeps moving so they are gentle on the skin and very relaxing. She also makes time in her pre– or post-​consultation to teach stretches, home massage techniques, and/​or use of the foam roller or other tools to help you help yourself. She is entirely health-​focused and professional. I’ve been to many, many massage therapists, and she is the best. I would pay full price for a massage from her instead of half-​price anywhere else I’ve been.

I love GT Massage and Skin Care! I purchased a Groupon last year for a Microdermabrasion and LED light treatment and it was a wonderful experience. I am 29 and I have had acne prone skin my entire life and I wish I had known there were alternatives to strong products to treat problematic skin. Gloria is a true professional, very friendly and welcoming and provides excellent service. I have been back at least 5 more times for the same Microdermabrasion and LED light treatment as well as regular facials. I also took my mother there for mother’s day this year for a facial and she loved it as well. Gloria has been very helpful in making recommendations for improving my skin from habits to products. However, Gloria does not push products at all and recommends sampling a product before purchasing. I would recommend this place to anyone looking for excellent skin treatments, expert service and wants to support a true local family run business.

Purchased the Slimming Body Wrap off of living social.
Wrapped in wet ace bandages and told to lay on a bed with an uncomfortable blanket surrounding me. The room was cold, she turned the light off and left me for 45 min.
The review of the deal says there are herbs and aloe vera used, I didn’t see any of that.
Do not waste your time.

Gloria was amazing. I received a microderm abrasion and LED treatment and I am extremely satisfied the entire process and the result. I look and feel fantastic! Thank you Gloria!

Gloria gives the BEST massage you will ever receive. If you are suffering from a sports injury or nagging pain Gloria can help. I have been seeing her on and off for years.

Extremely unprofessional. Our massages were scheduled at 10:30, we got there at 10:15 and the doors were locked, a few minutes later one of the guys showed up. The second lady showed up about ten minutes later where she just started complaining about being called in. Once the massage started she continued to talk about how it was her only day off and she was pissed about being there. My massage was the most painful massage I’ve experienced but it was whatever. After the massage my boyfriend left his wallet in the car, but they cornered us and wouldn’t stop trying to sell us another package, then told us that she only gets paid $ 15 for the massage and gratuity wasn’t included, and who likes to work on a Sunday? By the way, that was the day they gave me, it’s not like I was picky with the day. Overall, it was very uncomfortable and I won’t be returning.

I went here after purchasing a Living Social certificate for a facial. Gloria provided the facial. It wasn’t the best, but ok for what I paid. However, she talked me into pre paying for a second facial for $ 50. I did and regretted doing so. My second facial was with Donna. She was very aggressive trying to talk me into ‘upgrading” or buying add ons. She left the light on the whole time and talked. The facial was not relaxing at all. She kept telling me I had roscea, when in fact I have broken capilliaries on my face. She just wanted to sell me products they they have in their salon. I never had a facial that hurt, but this one did. She was really rough. I defintiely will not be returning to this place.

First of all, the massage itself was pretty good. But the experience was AWFUL. This was from the groupon for deep tissue.
It ran about 15 minutes late, but that wasn’t a big deal.
The masseuse, Donna, talked the entire time. When she was really talking, she would lose track of what she was doing and not massage. She was going on and on about things that were a bit offensive to me. I told her I was visiting a sick family member and she talked about how I needed to pray to Jesus Christ to make her well (I am Jewish). AND then said maybe I could return back for massage if I had to come back for a funeral (WHAT?!). I just said ok ok seeing as I was in a very vulnerable position.
The whole time she was trying to sell me or my family another massage.
She spend a lot of time getting much-​needed knots out of my back and even tried the hot stone on me which was really nice.
I tipped her what I had in my bad because I wasn’t super impressed with the experience ($ 8). When I handed it to her… she demanded that she needed to get me a water (AKA count her tip).
She came out and told me that they have a MANDATORY 20% TIP. I was appalled. If it was mandatory, it should have been included. And she did not deserve it. I was annoyed, but handed her my card. She came back and charged me $ 15 on it and said that was 20%… when really it was supposed to be $ 14. She gave herself and extra dollar and then pretended she didn’t understand what I was saying. All the while, the man (maybe a manager?) sat in the office staring at me.
Anyway, they got $ 15 dollars from me, but at least I can write about it.
