Service was great, but the food and margaritas are just ok.
If you’re in the area and craving for some Mexican food it’s a good place to stop at, but I wouldn’t go out of my way to come here.
The people working there were really friendly, so this is definitely not a reflection on them — just the food and drinks.

Consistency is key. And they could use some work in that area. I’m starting to think that we should just come here for the drinks. I don’t love the chunky salsa. The menu is vague when it comes to combo plates which has led to sending food back or being left with things I didn’t intend on ordering. The fish taco arrived watery. That was no bueno.
But most recently, the service was better (even though we had some miscommunication). The chicken and mole was still very good. The tamale was decent even though it was hidden under a lot of sauce. The rice was okay too.
There is a front and a back entrance, so if you park in the parking garage it is a quick walk right into the back door that is available for patrons. There are plenty of tables and I don’t feel crowded inside. And during the summer, you can dine on the patio and bring your dog. Hear the dog-​mamas of the Wheaton area rejoicing? :-)
