What a joke! They chopped my daughters hair horribly! It went from long beautiful to short and uneven. It make it worse to correct the issue they had to cut it even shorter! We will never return and I would advise anyone with thick hair NEVER come here! To add it to it all the store is dirty, nothing looks clean or as if they take any pride in their store

I have been getting my hair cut here for 8 years. I seldom go elsewhere. I have always gotten a great cut for a great price. Always been treated with kindness. There is seldom a wait. Every person there who has cut my hair has been awesome.

This was my first visit and I’m never going back there. They don’t pay attention to the cleanliness of the place and ditto to your hair. First, I was surprised they asked me if I wanted a shampoo, because it’s included in the price(there’s no discount if you don’t get one). After the shampoo, the stylist invited me to sit down in a chair, but I had to point out to her that it was still covered with clumps of the previous occupant’s hair. She brushed it off onto the floor, adding to other hair trimmings around the chair. Even though the place could have used a sweeping, one of the other stylists(who was not occupied) sat curling her own hair when 2 – 3 minutes could have been spent productively with a broom. Since my stylist did not speak much English, there was no chit-chat and I had time to notice that there were clumps of hair even on the glass shelves where hair care products for sale are displayed. Now, about my haircut. When she finishing cutting my hair, the stylist correctly pointed out that I have several cowlicks and, although almost every other stylist that has cut my hair has been able to give me a decent cut in spite of them, this one wanted to cover up her poor job with gel, which I do not use. Worst haircut I’ve had in a long, long time.

This is going to sound bad, but very few of the stylists who work hear speak more than a few words of English. Frankly, I love it. At every salon or barber shop I’ve ever been to the person will try endlessly to strike up a conversation with you and no matter how short you keep your answers they just don’t get it and keep trying. This particular Fantastic Sam’s is different. No chit chat, just business. And while I’ll admit I don’t have a particularly complex haircut, I’ve never walked away anything but satisfied. Come here if what you want is a good hair cut and not a new friend.
