Don’t let a negative review over an EXPIRED Gift Certificate stop you from making an appointment at Designer’s Loft. It does not reflect the quality of service or the people that work here. I have been getting my hair and nails done here for years. They do a great job. See for yourself.

Dear Emile and Sarah We are so you feel this way but your sister, Sarah Gull came in on January 72015 and redeemed her donated gift certificate which she purchased at the Down Syndrome fund raiser. We are sorry for your loss but we dont understand your feelings. Also we honored her gift certificate even though it was expired. Our salon does not believe on honoring redeemed certificates as do a lot of b usinesses. Again we are sorry for your loss.

I do not usually do reviews but my girlfriend has been sobbing in the bathroom for an hour because of the terrible service she received from the manager of this salon. Her sister had a gift certificate for this salon that expired the end of 2014 but they were unable to use it because of their sudden loss of their mother the beginning of December. I heard the full conversation that she had with the manager and she was rude and hung up on my girlfriend. She needs a pick me up, obviously and the $ 125 was already spent at the salon without service. It’s 20 days late and under the circumstances MOST people would be sympathetic. Do not go to this money hungry salon. It is insane that the owner would not have a heart and understand my girlfriend’s rare circumstances. She deserves sympathy. No one should loose their mom at 30. I know how she feels after getting some pampering and it breaks my heart that she won’t get it for this salon. I’m so angry that my girlfriend was treated so poorly. Enjoy your money. I don’t know how you sleep at night. You deserve zero stars. Spend your money somewhere else because that is all they care about here. You should be ashamed of yourself.

What a horrible place!!! I wish I could give zero stars because the manager is a terrible person! My mother passed away unexpectedly the beginning of December and my sister had a $ 125 gift certificate that expired at the end of the year. She was unable to use the $ 125 certificate because we have been dealing with so many arrangements, mourning and being beyond heartbroken by our significant loss. My sister gave me the certificate in hopes it would raise my spirits. Again, it expired at the end of the year but it’s a small salon and the $ 125 was paid to the salon. So they received the money with no service! I called asking if they would still redeem the certificate considering my sister has used their services before, they are a small boutique and because of the hell we have gone through the last 7 weeks. I left a message and never heard back. I just called and the manager was so rude and completely unsympathetic to my situation. She practically hung up on me. It’s so wonderful for her that she has never had to deal with loss or unexpected death in her life. I’m disgusted. What a terrible place and what a horrid manager. Stay away. They are obviously there for your money and nothing else. I can’t get rid of the terrible taste in my mouth. What a POS salon!!! Karma!
