Very friendly little gas station located right next to I-​70 on Kipling; I’ve been stopping here for gas for years. They used to have the World’s Slowest Carl’s Jr.™ built into the side of the place, but that is thankfully gone now in exchange for a more robust soda fountain selection.
The place offers any size fountain drink for seventy-​nine cents, which is fantastic, or you can get a free one if you buy a sandwich. Free doughnuts if you buy a coffee, as well. It would be nice if they had a wider selection of iced tea, in the bottle, fresh-​brewed, or on the fountain, but most gas stations in the area don’t.
This location, I believe, is twenty-​four hours, which is much preferable to the small station across the highway frontage road which is closed most times I come through. The staff is also friendlier, and I know where I’ll be buying my gas when I’m in the area.
