I have, been a client of Steffanie Fox for over 10 years and she never ceases to amaze me. Her salon is beautiful, her staff is top notch and Steffanie is a world class stylist and colorist. If you’re looking to find a new hair stylist who specializes in personalized hair care try out Stylz by Steffanie, you will not be disappointed!

I haven’t been here to get my hair done, but I saw that they were a Paul Mitchell based salon and called to see if they could possibly order a Paul Mitchell hair dryer for me. The service was top-​notch. They were so helpful, so nice and just all around so pleasant to me. I would definitely go back if I need more products and I’d absolutely recommend this salon due to the excellent customer service.

steffanie does a fantastic job cleaning up the mop on my head. she’s got trustworthy judgment when it comes to hair and offers tips & compliments to how to maintain yourself when you’re not in the salon.
it’s a great atmosphere and the staff are friendly and knowledgeable. the receptionist karen is just lovely! not somewhere with overzealous stylists, just great real people. i always feel welcome coming to the salon and steffanie runs a very hospitable business here. if you’re in the south shore, i highly recommend you stop by and book an appointment with her.
plus, she sells paul mitchell. great product and great talent does an exceptional salon make!

They were amazing! Steffanie did my hair for my wedding! It was absolutely perfect. She also cuts my hair too and does a great job! Steffanie also had her other hair designer do my moms hair for my wedding and we both couldn’t have been happier!

I moved to Boston almost 2 yrs ago and one of my biggest hurdles was finding a salon! With all of the options downtown, including Newbury St, I was never satisfied with the price or service. I was referred to Stephanie by a client and was hesitant because I live so far, but after my first visit she was ABSOLUTELY worth the drive! The entire salon staff is so friendly and accommodating that they make you feel like one of their own. Stephanie was extremely knowledgeable and spent a good chunk of my first appointment educating me on ways to keep my hair healthy, and what she was going to do different to make my jet black hair look more like a natural dirty blonde. I’ve never received so many compliments, my hair never felt and looked so healthy… best part, the price was half of what I was use to spending! I thought it was a joke. You’d be crazy not to go here!

Who would believe that you would find the quality and professionalism in a local salon that you would in the greater Boston area but Stylz by Steffanie is just that and less expensive too!
From the moment you walk in the door you are greeted by a stylist (Kellee is my go-​to girl) and as you look around you see an updated friendly atmosphere. But wait, it gets better. Her shampoos alone are to die for, but she has done a great job coloring and blowdrying my curly sometimes difficult hair. I have sent my teenage daughter to her for prom dos and she has lived up to my/​our expectations with that as well.
Can’t say enough!

Hoping this review makes it past Unilocal’s review filter — Stylz by Steffanie has been cutting my hair since 2000 when I moved here from NY. I am routinely stopped on the street and asked about my hair. My hair is pretty straightforward — I don’ t have a crazy cut or a crazy color. But both the cut and the color generate a LOT of positive feedback. I’m sure there are a lot of great stylists in Boston, but I am lucky to have found Stylz by Steffanie and I have referred a lot of people to this salon who have had great experiences all around.

I LOVE this place!!! The salon has an upscale look without the uptight atmosphere. Steffanie and Kellee are so friendly and accommodating. Steff is my regular stylist & she does an amazing job every time, I always look forward to my cut & foil!
Kellee has done my hair as well, she gave me a keratin treatment which was great, my hair looked phenomenal after. I cannot say enough good things about this place, if you are looking for a new style at a great price, go to Stylz. I promise, you won’t be disappointed!
Did I mention they always have tasty treats… BONUS :)

She does it all! She will get as creative (my daughters multi colored highlights) or as simple as a great cut, not that great cuts are simple! I like going there to be pampered and getting tips on how to take care of my hair while I’m at home. We all need to stay on top of the new trends and she does this for me so I don’t have to. I love my personal service that Steffanie gives me. Thanks Steffanie for taking such good care of me!

I’ve been going to Steffanie for 13 years now for foils and cuts. She is the best! She recently opened her own salon. She totally gutted the building and did everything over. It looks amazing now! It’s a very inviting and relaxing space. I highly recommend Steffanie and her new salon!
