Old Country Pizzeria

Got a Greek salad, pizza and a sub. Greek salad was almost all iceberg lettuce, two squishy /​old cherry tomatoes, two cucumber slices, two olives and a bunch of onion slices with what tasted like a creamy Italian dressing over a bit if feta Absolutely disgusting. I threw it out. Pizza was very tasteless crust, sweet sauce. Frozen pizza is better than this. Sub was nothing special, but not greasy. I don’t see how people rave about this place. I am a huge salad lover and this salad was seriously one of the worst ever. The pictures online look nothing like what is received. Never again. Wish I could get my hard earned money back.

I eat here a lot. Probably too much.

I am writing this review for my boyfriend who does not have an account. Service at Old Country Pizza was not a pleasant experience. My boyfriend received a menu in his mailbox. He just recently moved to town. He and some friends ordered for delivery. They were informed by the person taking their order that the steak tips & fries were a very large portion. FALSE. Once it was delivered, they did not include fries and were given an appetizer portion instead. Not a big deal until the girl on the phone was rude when they wanted another delivery this time with the correct order. There is no need to go on and on, but let’s just say. not again. I think next time I will encourage them to spend their money on a better pizzeria maybe this time we check out Unilocal Reviews first.

I went to Old Country today to get a haddock sub. I’ve been there before only for pizzas and calzones, which have been very good each time. The haddock sub was very good. The reason I’m not giving 5 stars is service related, not food related.
Both the menu board and the paper menu list the price as 7.75. That’s 8.30 with tax. I added cheese, so maybe that’s another 50 cents (as listed on both menus) unless it’s included. 8.25 with tax should be 8.83 but I was charged 9.36. Another buck isn’t going to break me, so not a huge deal. But what got me was when I asked the woman at the counter if the price had gone up because I was charged more than I expected she just said «Yup!» and turned away without another word. I guess I was looking for more of an explanation. When I got the sub I looked at the ticket and the price read 8.74. If a sandwich is a buck more than advertised, there should be some sort of signage saying so. If a customer asks, something more than YUP! would be nice.
Like I said, the food was good. But this little incident (and yes, I realize it’s little) has got me thinking I might not go back. I can get good pizzas and subs many places. It’s the little things that make a place stand out.

Ive lived in Quincy for 2 years and have been in search of a good local pizza spot. Somehow this place popped up on my facebook news feed and i decided to give them a try. Ive been there 3 times already and have had amazing food every single time. Their pizzas are the best, the dough is light and buttery and their calzones are overstuffed. This place has become the go to pizza spot and i recommended it to everyone!

It’s been a long time since I put away a large steak and cheese that fast. This was 5min before closing I get this steak and cheese that is shaved so fine it melts in your mouth. Cheese is melted perfect. No salt and pepper necessary.
Amazing!
That goes for the chicken parm sub too. I don’t know what they did to that chicken but I’m ashamed to say that I watched myself eat some of the wrapper because I didn’t want to slow the decent of this sandwich into my guts under any circumstance.
It’s coma time!

I stopped in today to take advantage of their early bird deal (10% off any order between 2pm-​4pm). I ordered a Philly cheesesteak pizza that was very tasty and a side of wings. To my surprise the wings were fresh not frozen and baked not fried. The honey mustard sauce was very nice. The thing that stood out most to me was how nice the owner was. He truly cares for his customers and business. I would check them out if you have the chance. It was honestly so refreshing to meet such nice people who take pride in their work.

Awesome, Has the cranberry walnut chicken sandwich. It was great. Chicken pram was great as usual too.

Changing my review after the restaurant changed ownership… much better! Buffalo chicken pizza was really good. Nice amount of chicken, crispy and spicy. Could have supplied some ranch or bleu cheese. Next time I’m in the neighborhood I’ll order again.

I got the buffalo calzone. Awesome. Fresh chicken. Not the frozen crap most everyone else sells. I also got the chicken Parmesan that was very good too. I will order again from here very soon. Worth a try.

I loved eating here the steak is the best cooked the right way and very flavorful so is the grilled chicken breast perfection if you ask me :-)

Worst pizza I have EVER had! I ordered the pepperoni deluxe which had a description of «two layers of pepperoni sandwiched between cheeses topped with mozzarella, romano and provolone.» I’ve NEVER seen false advertising at it’s best! It looked like one of those Celeste pizzas you buy at the market for $ 1 but actually tasted worse! My boyfriend and I were appalled and actually threw it out. Absolutely the WORST pizza I have ever had in my life and the crust is pre-​frozen by the way. Looks like the new management doesn’t care about quality because rats wouldn’t eat this stuff! STAY AWAY!

Hands down, my favorite pizza anywhere. A delicious, saucy and cheesy pizza with a crunchy crust. They also make a buffalo chicken calzone which is unbelievably good.
Definitely give this pizza a try!

Located in Jackson Square next to the CVS, this is a fantastic pizza place on the South Shore. It opened about a year ago, and is conveniently located a mile from my house.
Seems like business is pretty decent, but I hope it sticks around because the pizza really is that good.
