I’ve eaten at Jenna’s a handful of times and have not been disappointed once. French dip, fried chicken, chicken Caesar wrap, tater tots, all delicious. I just wish they were open year round.

Driving by we almost missed this, thinking it was just an ice cream stand. But they did have food. The only seating is outdoor, though, so if the weather is poor this would be a take-out place. Our meals were fair, but not great. The fried scallops were a little fishy for my taste. The servers were all business, and somewhat rude as they told us about their policy of no credit cards for amounts under $ 10. If you live near here it’s probably a good stop. But I wouldn’t go out of my way to try it.

We stopped at Jenna’s Drive In because I wanted to try their fish tacos, but I had trouble with the idea of paying $ 9.95 for two fried fish tacos with nothing on the side at an ice cream stand. We got ice cream instead. They get theirs from Gifford’s. After tasting a few of their flavors, we ended up with cookies n cream and a scary red raspberry sorbet. They actually worked surprisingly well together with the dairy goodness of the ice cream adding a nice creaminess to the brightly flavored sorbet. A small cup held two scoops for $ 2.90($ 3.13 after tax). They accept credit cards, just not American Express, and have a $ 10 minimum for both debit and credit cards.

i can’t believe it took us this long to try Jenna’s. we went on a whim and the food was amazing. yes, there’s a short wait but that’s to be expected when the food is cooked to order. everything we have gotten — burgers, sandwiches, onion rings — are delicious. the kids love the slushes and who can say no to maple walnut ice cream! yes, i’ll admit, sometimes i go just to get the dog a doggie dish of ice cream. she’s a huge fan of Jenna’s!

Just stopped by for lunch for the first… and so glad I did! I got a cheeseburger, French fries and raspberry lime Ricky. It was all delicious! I usually like my burgers medium rare, but the flat top burger was so good. I can’t wait to go back!

First timers here at Jenna’s, and right under our noses. This is the sort of neighborhood spot dreams are made of. The fish and chips were huge in both portions and quality. Super fresh and crisp. Same can be said for the mahi tacos. Well-seasoned fish, and the mango complements it perfectly. Every time we drive by, there are people enjoying the great food on their outdoor benches. Looking forward to trying out those tots next time! Great experience!

Last night, neither my husband nor I, or our daughter could figure out where to go to eat. Braintree and Weymouth are wastelands when it comes to decent food. So we headed in the general direction of Scituate while complaining about the drive. We happened to pass Jenna’s, and I said– this place has great reviews, want to try this instead? Surprisingly, they agreed. We ended up being very pleased they did. Husband had an angus beef hot dog with mustard and relish. Said it was one of the better he’d had. My daughter had a gorgeous patrami melt loaded with nice lean not to salty pastrami. I had a Cali BLT– lots of great thick bacon, crisp lettuce, tomatos, avacodo, and homemade red pepper mayo. I also had a side of corn salad– corn, basil, tomato, and a bit of balsamic. Yum. My daughter and I had ice cream with hot fudge for dessert. Fairly decent fudge, but the ice cream was really good. Toasted coconut has chocolate covered toasted coconut pieces– different, not to heavy, and so good! The above plus a side of fries and bottle of water cost 32 $ Definitely an inexpensive meal for three. The best part was the staff was super friendly, quick, and patient even though they were busy. If you order a meal, you just tell them when you have finished and they make your ice cream after. I am sad we didnt try this place earlier. We will definitely be back! Fresh food, great prices, and dog friendly! I definitely Jenna’s!

Good ice cream, but sour PR. I was a little disappointed today, I wanted to pay the lunch tab for a few of the Weymouth Firefighters this afternoon. As soon as they ordered, they got a call for service and ran back to the firehouse without their food. After they left, I simply asked if they could refund their money when they returned & I would pay, their answer was«can’t do it.»

Tried the«home made» pastrami. I was the only customer and waited about 10 minutes for the sandwich, which was just fair, at best. Went on the advice of a Globe article. This was the second or third time I trusted the restaurant reviewers in the Globe. I won’t trust them again.

Just had some great fried fish tacos and the most amazing tater tots. The tacos had delicious sauce over shredded cabbage mango and cilantro. The medium spice was just enough heat. The big tater tots would make a good side for 2. With melted cheese inside they were awesome.

Just went to Jenna’s for the first time and I live right around the corner. The menu is great and offers a ton of options for burgers and sandwiches. The specials board also offered so fun and unexpected options. I got the Clucker, which is a fried chicken sandwich with mayo, lettuce and tomato on an incredible sesame seed bun. Great sandwich! My dad got the cheeseburger club and it was huge and he didn’t offer to share so that speaks for itself. I can’t wait to try other menu items in the future. Great spot for a quick but delicious lunch or dinner!

I wanted to try Jenna’s last fall, but didn’t get there before they closed for the season. I went this Sunday, and it is awesome ! We got burgers and the amazing bacon cheddar tater tots. So good. Burger had that nice off the grill taste. We brought our dog and planned on leaving him in the car, but they are totally dog friendly, so we brought him with us ! They have water bowls and benches to sit on. Puppy Ice cream was $ 1.00 with a biscuit in it. He loved it. We almost went back for dinner ! Will definitely being going back !

Don’t let Jenna’s modest, ice cream stand façade fool you — the menu here is surprisingly deep and varied, with rotating specials that almost demand a daily stop(if only my waistline would let me!) Burgers, dogs, and a variety of sandwiches and fried seafood take up the middle, regular part of the menu, but look around the margins and you’ll find some great, oddball selections. Chief among these are the fantastic, artery destroying tater tots, stuffed with cheese and bacon and, most likely, manna from heaven. They are decadent and just ridiculously delicious. The fried chicken, when available(generally late week and into the weekend) is the real star of the show here, though. Fried to order, lightly spiced and perfectly portioned, it sells out regularly and quickly, so jump on it when you can. Also really liked the mahi mahi tacos, again a special, but one that pops up fairly regularly.

A friend mentioned this place, so I went to check it out twice over the weekend. Food was great! First time I had the fried chicken, and my brother had a cheeseburger. We had to wait a bit, but it was so worth it! The fries were crisp and the chicken was melt in your mouth good. My brother had no complaints about his burger either! The second time I got two varieties of the chicken wings with a friend. The wings were nice and crisp, delicious! Bit of a wait for that too, but nothing out of the ordinary. What is keeping it from 5 stars is the service and the seating. Both times the staff have been awful. I mean really, at least pretend you want to be there ladies. No smiles, or pleasantries. Also, give people forks and wet-naps. If they aren’t going to always hand them over, then put them outside for the customers to take themselves. My fried chicken came with coleslaw in a cup, but not fork to eat it with, and my wings came without any wet-naps. I had to make another trip back to the window and wait to ask for these things both times I was there. They also have a serious bee problem. Both times I sat on the tables to the side and bees were *everywhere*. We ended up taking our chicken wings to the car to eat because they were attracted to the wing sauce! All in all, great food but lacking in both customer service and a bee-free ambiance.

I travel on the South Shore twice a week. I have viewed post from friends about Jenna’s and I was finally able to make a stop. I am a huge fan or in laymen’s terms a sucker for a great fish taco. That being said, this was my task to try the Jenna’s Fish Taco. I came to the window and placed my order to a very pleasant young lady. Sorry, but she did not tell me her name. While I was waiting for my order, I was able to check out the chalk board menu that was full of some great eats. While I was waiting a gent ordered up a chocolate shake. I watched in horror as this lass added the chocolate sirup and scoop after scoop of the darkest chocolate ice cream I have seen in years. I hope this guy made it through the LIQUIDDEATHBYCHOCOLATE!!! My order came and I have to say, this was the best fish taco I have ever been served. Full of fish, the slaw perfect and the cilantro added that Mexican taste. I can not wait to try other items off this menu. I will travel from the North Shore with folks to get a taste of Jenna’s Do not miss this new Gem…
