They are only open until they run out of food. I stop by there at two o’clock one day and they were closed. Tried again the following day about the same time and this time they were open. And the BBQ was superb. You can get a pound for $ 10 and it’s worth it. Coleslaw is great and so are the sauces. So catch them on Monday through Friday before they run out. You’ll be glad you did!

Brand new food truck right on Rt. 11(and Fadley) in Weyers Cave(about half a mile off 81), this truck sells serious BBQ. They keep it simple — pulled pork, beef brisket, smoked turkey — but the meat is great and the sauces are no joke. The Carolina sauce(my favorite) is super sharp and just right. The Texas-style isn’t merely boring sweet the way it is some places: it’s a little smokey, with spices and a little heat. And the smokey bourbon sauce is just delicious. Sides vary: the green beans(southern style) were good, and the fried pickles with sauce are addictive. You can order sandwiches, platters, or the bulk smoked meats. Picnic tables right there, and they take credit cards! Opens 11am and closes around 6 I think.
