Dolce Vita Salon & Spa

I recently went to the salon and showed the stylists exactly what I wanted done. I could tell she was unsure of what to do because she continuously went back to her supervisor to ask for directions even though she ensured me she knew what she was doing.
My hair ended up looking horrible but the staff could not have been more accommodating. They genuinely wanted to do whatever to make me happy with my haircut and color. They told me to come back if I wanted it changed which I did. It still did not look much better but I appreciated them trying to fix it.

I absolutely love this salon! From the staff to the quality of service, everything is top-​notch. Christen is so sweet and kind every time I go. She always makes sure to ask me what I want done and is cautious to always meet my expectations. She is the BEST at waxing and I LOVE the job she does on hair. The thing I love most about her is that she is meticulous and a perfectionist and still manages to make me feel comfortable by chatting with me while she works. Kelly and the rest of the staff are also very friendly and nice and always makes it a point to say hi. I also love how everyone makes my son feel so welcome when I bring him in. Bottom line, this is a great salon and I highly recommend it!

Can I cut that 1 star in half?
I do NOT recommend this place! First, they lie about the service purchased (groupon) and tell you that there is an additional cost if you want to have what you purchased. I purchased a cut with all over color and they told me that was a root touch up only, that it really isn’t «all-​over». I told them prior to scheduling I had a groupon with cut/​ALL OVER color and not sure who I spoke with but the girl was nice telling me about the brands they have and how much she believes in the color outcome. Great, I was excited for my appt. However when I got there, the girl was rude (Kristen?) saying I was the only person who didn’t understand their language that ‘all over’ means roots only. I asked why I wasn’t told on the phone or why the groupon doesn’t mention roots and she said we like to explain it in person. After putting up a fight for 15 minutes, she put a toner on my hair. She didn’t bother to ask me ANYTHING! What color I wanted or what I liked. When I asked about what she put on my hair, she said I know what I’m doing, it’s a science. Ok… Seriously, do not waste your time, energy, money or breath going here. This place is ridiculous and should not be in business!
And for the outcome, well, my hair looks pretty much the same. I had to fix the cut myself at home and the color didn’t change. It’s the exact same color with the red tones I asked to have cancelled out and I can still see some gray hairs coming through. No surprise.

I surely have to say this salon was very good with its service and I walked out satisfactorily. Kelly did my highlights and she gave me enough time to understand what I want and did her job beyond my expectations. I’m definitely going back to her again.

I had the Global Keratin treatment. It is wonderful! I have had keratin treatments done before, but this so far has been the best. It took the frizz out of my hair, shortened the drying time, and makes the texture of my hair smooth and silky. Christen was the stylist that did this for me and did an excellent job!
