All I can say is machines are obviously programmed. Been 4 – 5 times with father-in-law and haven’t won anything. I’ve been times where you do go up and I pocket the money. Went today and machines I usually do OK in didn’t even tease. I don’t like going anyway but do it for the father-in-law. Gave him $ 100.00. Gone in 20 minutes on penny machines.

First off, the slots are a lot better than in Harrah’s at Murphy and Cherokee, NC. Here you actually feel like you have a chance, even if it’s a tiny one. Also, the alcohol is free at the slots! The casinos in NC charge you. Windcreek Casino is really nice. The ambiance will surprise you. I have to warn you though. You might not want to take your chances with eating at ANY of the restaurants. There was a bug in the cooler at the buffet and none of the staff saw it until it was brought to their attention. The restaurant«Fire» has great service but everything is a la carte, expensive and mediocre at best. No chicken or turkey is on the menu. I ordered a fillet mignon and it was very marginal. All in all, I like the casino, but they need major improvements with their dining choices. If they do that, it’ll be the casino of choice for AL, Tenn, SC, NC, and GA residents.

I really enjoy going to this casino because they have a really good variety of slot machines however some of their service techniques need to be improved upon. For example I wait forever for valet each and every time I need to get my car. It’s hard to find a host on duty and when you do find them they’re not very generous with their comps. One of them told me today that we only really like to give food comps we don’t want to give you comps to the gift shop. Kind of ridiculous if you’re spending money there what difference does it make where you get your comp? My Host treats me pretty well but when he’s not there it’s ridiculous.

This is a nice place, but. Yep there’s a but! It’s my second time here and all they have are slot machines. They’re mostly outdated slot machines that look pretty old! At other casinos you can stop the reels when you want the reel to stop, but not here! Which I think sucks. If I’m putting my money in the machine I should be able to play the games how they were designed to be played. I feel like it’s a ripoff of a casino, like the games are rigged«which obviously they must be rigged! because you can’t stop the reel». The machines don’t pay out very well either. All in all its a nice place, but don’t bet that you’ll win much here. If at best you might break a little better than even.

The casino gets 3 stars for the design and hotel. The negative stars are for operations and customer service. I enjoyed staying in the platinum suite, which had a bathroom that was almost as equally as spacious as the bedroom. The meals in the restaurants were average and the gift shop is ridiculously overpriced with a random selection of items. The staff doesn’t seem to be well informed of the promotions or of the complete offerings of the hotel. I have often been given incorrect information, only to be left walking around in circles back where I started. This is definitely the best you will get in Wetumpka though! The concerts are awesome. Chaka Chan, Charlie Wilson, the O’ Jays and others have performed amazing shows.

I’m from the area, but never had an opportunity to visit the Windcreek. Wow! There are two casinos in the area, but I only visited the Wetumpka location. Besides the electronic bingo games(slots), they recruit some of the best acts to perform there e.g., Chris Tucker, The Ojays, Chaka Khan, & more. The buffet was one of the finest: The food bar trays were always staged, the food always fresh and hot, and any course or desert you could have imagined was available.

Very nice, nice but small non-smoking area. I have to say that the smoking area isn’t that bad. The restaurant inside are very good especially Grill, I’m not a buffet person but I hear it’s good. The Grill is nice if you just want something quick(i.e corn dogs). Free sodas, coffee, water along the walls. I have a awesome time, it has at least 3000 machines, live band the night I was there. Staff was nice and helpful.

I’ve only been to the buffet. Tremendous selection and the quality of the food did NOT suffer due to the quantity!

Transplant from Philly. The casinos in this area are quaint. Minimum amount of slots above penny types. I heard people win here but I couldn’t find any stats on the odds or pay out ratios and with the Victoryland fiasco, I’m not surprised. I was here longer than an hour and never heard a single slot machine win. I’ll save my money for trips out of state!

This rating for the buffet and a quick walk around the casino. I’m not drawn to gambling but I played $ 1 game just for fun. The casino is clean and divided into a smokers and non smoking section. Free coke products are offered to everyone in the casino area. A steakhouse, coffee café, quick grill and buffet are all located in the casino area. The restroom is hygiene maintained from the sinks to the toilet seats. The buffet was great and I liked the fact that the food can be seen as it is cooked and also each employeee has a station to maintain, stock and keep clean. The food is constantly refreshed, so it is fresh and hot. The dessert bar as ice cream with various toppings and a variety of cakes and pies to choose from. I had a good first time experience and hopefully will be back. The employees were friendly and had great customer service.

The military eat free appreciation brunch requires you to get a player’s club card first. This bit of information should be added to the advertisement. Misleading. Hope the food is worth the wait for this club card.

We had a blast, the bar tenders and cocktail staff were exceptional, especially Judy at the bar and Katherine on the floor, very prompt and personable. The slots were on our side, we came out on top for the weekend, hitting big 4 times. Paying $ 17 for the buffet, we were expecting something better than what was offered. Over all we had a great experience and will absolutely be back.

Wind Creek Casino Staff, I would like to personally THANK the entire staff working in the Buffet area of the Casino. It was my first time visiting Wind Creek and unfortunately misplaced my Iphone and wallet. The staff working(memorial day 2015) went above and beyond to make sure my items were in safe keeping. Upon returning to the restaurant, the staff welcomed and assured me that my items were safe! Mind you this was after closing and they were extremely gracious! I can not express my gratitude! I plan to return to Wind Creek Casino. Thanks again for going above and beyond!

I do love slot machine gambling, and can say that the inside of this place does feel like a «real» casino. They did a great job with the remodel! I have heard that the hotel is one of the nicest in the state as well, as is the Fire restaurant. However, the casino games that they offer here don’t do a lot for me. Last time we went on a Friday night, and it was absolutely miserable. There were so many people that you couldn’t even find a machine. The clientele here(which tends to be people who go to spend their paycheck in hopes of winning the jackpot) tends to be a downer too. Very few people look like they are even having fun. We have never really won that much here before, but one of our friends tends to do well. All in all, not a bad place to spend a little time, but could be so much better.

I have been to this casino many times. For Alabama.,. its nice. However, I usually go on a saturday night. This time, I went on a friday night… I guess everyone got paid. It was very crowded. I sat at this one machine that was empty and some lady started screaming at me saying I stole her machine. I got up… since when can you save a machine… yes, it had a card in it but people leave there card in machines all the time. I have never experienced such rude people… seriously… save your money and go to vegas… unless you are just dying to go gambling and lose money.

This is my first time visiting since the major remodel. It’s head and shoulders above the cesspool it used to be. Still a little smoky for my taste, but much better than before. There are plenty of machines and they even let you order your cocktails from your game, which is a bonus. The only problem is that on Sundays they do not serve alcohol… at all. Womp, womp, womp. There are a few restaurants, but the veterans recommended the buffet over the steakhouse. The buffet includes the standard fare: soup, salad, BBQ ribs, pulled pork, mac and cheese, fried seafood, prime rib, crab legs and dessert bar. It was a decent value at $ 24.95. Everyone in my party won, so we’d definitely go again.

First off this is a good casino. Slot machines only but still very gamer friendly with decent chances of coming out a winner if you know how to quit while you’re ahead. The hotel portion is great and the bathrooms are fantastic! Very friendly hotel staff as well. If you’re coming for the first time, remember to ask for guides to dining and service options, it’ll make your visit much easier. The Buffet was also fantastic! Food was delicious and the price was very reasonable for the varieties of food that you get. And there’s also quick, cheaper options for eating on the go or bringing food back to your room. While they do offer valet parking, their parking deck is designed well so that you’ll never really have to walk an unreasonable distance to your car. Tip: get as many of your party to sign up for the players club because they give great freebies with membership
