Sllllooooowwwww service. But I love the lobster bisque. Sometimes the food is over cooked. But usually it’s very good.

I was here for business and This was my first time at a red lobster because I don’t have one where I live. It was amazing. The service was amazing! Our waitress Elizabeth was great. She was new, but unless she told us I would have never known. Not only was she fantastic but over hearing the other wait staff they were all outstanding including the manager. The food was perfect and perfectly cooked. I will be back to this location for all of my business trips!

If you like seafood there is better seafood right down the street from this place, it’s called City Fish Market. It is not the frozen garbage that red lobster sells you extremely overpriced. It doesn’t make sense that anyone likes this restaurant to be honest.

The service is great but the food is not so great. It’s a glorified fast food chain at best. My wife loves this place to I periodically take her to give her the fix she needs. I find the food and portiins to be small and the prices to be high. If I wasn’t married to my wife I would never go to.RL. i am a customer service stickler and I think the staff is friendly and are trained well.

Freezing… the restaurant was so cold. Everyone was leaving jackets on. The food was chain restaurant quality. The waitress was so slow when we asked for something but got the food out quickly before we were done with the app, salad etc. The mussel app had so many broken shells. Waitress was busy with a big party so sent a buser with the to go containers.

I was pleasantly surprised. I have never been to a Red Lobster before because my state had none. I would watch commercials all the time and wondered if it was really worth trying. On Father’s day, my brother-in law along with my sister and mother drove from RI(My home town) to CT(new residence) to give it a try. The place was packed and we were on an hour wait. Location & Atmosphere Pretty cool, a bit chilly but cool. Clean and better than expected because of the Father’s day crowd. The plus was that it was really close to my apartment. Customer Service Excellent! I was surprised on how the servers kept their cool despite the many people coming in. It must have felt overwhelming. Our server, I think his name was Chris(white, tall, dark hair and maybe 20 something years old) was cool, calm, and courteous. He was patient with us despite his many tables and their questions. WE appreciate that a great deal! Food: Pretty good and way better than I thought it would be. I get enough of those biscuits even though they are bit salty. The steak and lobster I ordered was amazing!

Friendly servers, but the food is not great. The ultimate feast is okay and so is the crab and shrimp alfredo. The portions are pretty small but they are filling. I don’t think the food tastes great because it’s LOADED with salt! That’s the one reason I rarely come here. Cheddar biscuits are pretty good. Service can be kind of slow because weekends and nights are extremely packed and I mean it. Sometimes the line is out the door. There’s a lot of hype about red lobster but their food does not live up to it. Save your money or splurge a little and go to Chowder Pot in Hartford.

Meh Ordered shrimp nachos. Bland. Not a lot of flavor at all. Ordered the ultimate feast. Shrimp scampi was good. Crab legs were cold(supposed to be hot). Fried shrimp was … Well fried shrimp nothing special. Wife ordered the admirals feast. Everything was fried. Everything somewhat bland. Haven’t been to RL in about 7 years and wouldn’t mind if its another 7 till I go again.

Absolute garbage. I order a cheese burger and got a hockey puck on a bun. It had no cheese no lettuce, tomatoes, or other condiments. The other members of my party where also unhappy. They found their meals where dry. The service was slow as well.

I just don’t understand the huge hype of Red Lobster. Sure it’s seafood and seafood tastes great, but the prices here are ridiculous and the portions are rather sad for the price you pay. I do love the cheddar biscuits! Service can be slow and the waits can be very long to be seated. I prefer going somewhere else as Red Lobster is not one of my favorites.

The food and drinks came out very fast! The biscuits were warm and soft! The service was awesome and the atmosphere was great. There really is nothing else to ask for at a chain restaurant. Great job, we’ll be back!!!

Took a little road trip with some friends to this location. We were quickly seated and put in am immediate order for as many baskets of cheddar biscuits as possible. We were not disappointed! Had a tasty strawberry flavored cocktail and some green bean fries while waiting for our entrees. The batter on the shrimp could use a little flavoring, it was mostly just a salty plain coating. The lobster tail was good and the bay scallops were tasty as well. Service was friendly and prompt though our table was full of plates(there were 4 of us) and our server took quite a bit of time when it came to clearing them off. Will visit again if in the area.

Went to lunch with husband today and service was SLOW! The food did come out hot and was good. But other than that the experience was just average. We were seated right away, but waited 15 min. for someone to come take our drink orders. We ordered our food at that time and waited another 15 min. for our drinks to come. She did bring our salad and biscuits at the same time. She then came and brought the bill, I asked for a refill on drinks and she didn’t get to the back so couldn’t bring them! Was not happy with that answer. As we were sitting there a woman came in who was larger and they seated her alone at a 6 person table. When they walked back to the host station, one of the girls laughed and said they had to take a whole table to seat her cause she was too fat for a booth. She said it loudly so those around could hear. HORRIBLE!!! So I give 3 cause the food was good, but the service sucked! Our waitress was Erica S. The hostesses were a tall young black girl and a med. hight Latino looking. I am only putting this in hopes a manager sees this and talks to them for their actions and words towards guests.

Great waitress! Very attentive! Absolutely delicious biscuits and the chowder was perfect! Only reason I didn’t rate it a 5 was because the shrimp was a tad dry. Still very good though. Will be back !!

A little bit of a drive from home, but worth it. That’s because even though I am not a big seafood guy, but they make great steak and rock lobster. Big plus they have call ahead seating. Which is great because we have such a long drive easy to call ahead when we know we are 20 minutes away. Service is good too, no complaints about staff. They are a little pricey, but still worth it for the quality of the food.

Came down from Ma after hitting the aquarium in mystic. The cheddar biscuits are the best. We got the trio, lobster bake and shrimp Alfredo all were really good. I wan to comment about Scott the server made it the most enjoyable experience. Service was great which made up for the slightly rude hostess at the front.

Since my review a couple years ago, I have stopped in(not by choice). The hubster has a weakness for the cheddar bay biscuits so we will come for dinner now and then. Service has improved quite a bit, although they they are still a bit slow. They are getting better at checking up on you and bringing refills. Getting the check still takes a bit of time. Red Lobster is always packed around dinnertime, especially on the weekends. Finding a parking spot can be a hassle and you might end up just parking on the street(at least it’s a side road). Waiting in the lobby is not ideal as people can be rude and push you around when it is crowded. We always wait outside if that is the case(and I am pretty claustrophobic). This last time we went it was Valentine’s Day. The wait was over two hours, but they have tried to make it easier for folks by allowing customers to call one hour ahead before they arrived to be placed on a waiting list. That way they would only have to wait one hour when they came. Another tactic Red Lobster used was taking down phone numbers of waiting customers so that they would get the phone call when their names were close to the top of the list. Instead of waiting around, folks could leave and go somewhere to kill time until they got the phone call. We didn’t have to wait long as we started chatting with another couple around our age and they invited us to share the table with them. That was so awesome! Hubby ordered his usual dish(shrimp linguini Alfredo) and I decided on the Parmesan crusted tilapia and the berry mango daiquiri. The daiquiri was delicious and the tilapia was cooked perfectly. It was probably one of the best meals I probably had at this establishment. Probably good to come when it’s not overly busy. Not the best place to dine if you want something better, but still a pretty good deal for a decent meal if you don’t mind the wait.

I went in to pick up a gift card for Christmas, left smelling like fish. Bar has a bunch of beer taps, parking lot is always crowded, staff was friendly. You know what you are getting when you come to Red Lobster.

This place doesn’t deserve 3 stars. People are being generous and I’ll tell you why: We were a party of 4. Give or take, our order had a crab legs meal, crab cakes, lobster and shrimp meal and fish &d chips… The crab cakes and the fish and chips werefine. It was the other two meals that killed itfor me. Meal 1: Crab legs meal: before placing the order we asked if they would de-shell them as we weren’t in the proper attire to do it ourselves. We clearly said if that couldn’t be done, it was totally fine, and that we would order something else… They insisted they would so we ordered the snow crab legs. — Crab legs were not de-shelled, and when we asked that they complied with their promise we could clearly see multiple waiting staff members refuse to do it until they sent the new guy to do the job… needless to say, he didn’t know how. He got my boyfriend’s shirt all dirty… Meal 2: Seafood combo had a lobster tail, 3 shrimp, rice(I believe) and broccoli. — Everything was saltyand greassy, my plate was actually cracked and the worst part was the broccoli. It was black, not because it was spoiled but because it was covered entirely in sal & pepper. I told the waiter and he said he would bring a new portion but never did. They had already screwed up too much to even make a big deal out of everything… we paid and left. Rest assured, we will NEVER return.
